Seriously, though, so many millions of people in the world die for other reasons than the second coming that there are scads of reasons to live a good life.

When I was a kid I worried about my grades because a bad grade would make my parents angry. As I grew, I learned that my own bad grades should make ME angry because I would be the one to suffer for it. Heaven and Hell are like that. You should, if your heart is full of love, practically disregard Hell for most ordinary purposes.
