her name is.....Q'orianka Kilcher .i dont think they are going to make this movie....at least not until VERY later, becus remember that they are striving to make the movies with as much of the Pevensies first.

I thinkn I SHOULD play Aravis....and I'm NOT kidding. I'm not dark skinned, but i have huge eyes that would probably fit her "look". And long thick black hair. :D

i wish i could be in a Narnia film, but i have no asking experence at all. my sister is a really good actress and is in many plays and she's only 8. also i have the worst stage fright and i'm really shy. i think i'd a terrible job. but i think it would be an amazing experence.

In the first Horse and His Boy book I ever read, there is a picture of Shasta sitting on Bree. Behind him (and slightly ahead) is Aravis sitting on Hwin. Although you can't see too much of her face (it's side profile and Shasta is blocking most of her), this image has always been how I've imagined Aravis.

So, obviously, the best person for this role would be someone who looks like my imagined Aravis.

Physically, she should look like this (my ideal Aravis imagined): Arabic, pretty, but fierce, strong and young (because even though she's described as being Shasta's size, she's said to be younger than he is.

Bother, I can't find a picture of it online. I'll have to see if I can get a secondhand one I can scan. I may have lost my original copy.

If anyone else sees it, they're under an arabic-style archway. Whoever drew the cover must have imagined them as they were entering Tashbaan (Calormen's capital).

I think I would be a terrible aravis. It would be need to be somone pretty young now so that they would be 13 when they finally make the movie. I don't think it should be a famous actress either.

dude, i was a Jr. member not long ago, and i learned slowly, like a lot of people here, to not make these types of threads, and i became a senior member, like, 1 week ago. sorry, but you kinda scared me. no offense. i`m still getting used to being a sr. member (HELP! I DON`T WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING! jkjkjkjk)

Well I think one suggestion for the mods would be to sticky some of the threads which are the most commonly asked questions and more likely to be asked multiple times by new members. Since I've been here since May 1, there have been about four threads LOL asking WHAT IS YOUR FAVE CHARACTER in the LWW subsection of the forum.
