The first season had most of the weird episodes. My favorite one was where Clark switches his powers through a meteor rock with the boy who's dad was a science teacher. Then he goes mad with power. He's Shaun Ashmore from X Men, which I also love. Seeing Clark's dad die was like OMG, even though I knew it was going to happen sooner or later, because c'mon, it's the Superman story. I just thought, Smallvile takes forever to get from one place to another in Clark's life, and just seeing that was like..."ALREADY!?" lol. It's still a good show though.

Hello all

I watch Smallville every thursday without fail. This season had it's hits and misses but the last 2 episodes were great. I can't help but feeling they may have let Jonathan go prematurely. I mean, what else can they fill in the few remaining episodes with? Sub-par storylines or more JLA/DC characters (I'd prefer more JLA characters) or ...please God no... more "Clana". I hope this month's episode with Cyborg of Teen Titans doesn't come out of nowhere with some ridiculous storyline. we'll see...

One thing I can say, Jonathan really kept Clark grounded. He will be sorely missed.

AGH! I am SO MAD!!! I was hoping that one of the latest episodes would get rid of one of my LEAST favorite characters Lana! And it ALMOST did but then stupis clarck had to go change everything and now his really cool dad is dead! This sucks! Before, at least Lana was happy when she died, now they are all mad all over again! I want to see Chloe and Clark together and why did Pete have to leave a few seasons ago? He was awesome!

Yeah, I feel that way sometimes as well.
It feels like a lot of elemets of the story could really use some speeding up.

But heck, it's a TV show, it's supposed to go on and on... they got to spread it out a little... right? ;)

Ahh too true! Here's my question: Since he's already lying about himself, why couldn't he at least dance closer to the truth and say that he has SOME powers that he got from the meteor shower? I mean, they've seen lot's stranger things than super speed, and bullet proofness, and even fire shooting eyes on top of that wouldn't wierd them out too bad. When Lana was like: "It's ok if you got powers from the meteors.." in the third season, I was screaming : "Yes! Yes! Tell her you did! And least tell her about the bullet proofness or something! Don't just stand there!!" Clark is a really bad liar, and that's not a bad thing, but sometimes I wish he was just a little bit better. :D Why on earth couldn't he pretend he was a sort of meteor freak, and just ask his friends to be quiet about it? And if he felt he could really trust them, he could ease into the whole "I'm an alien thing."

One other thing I dont' get, if he told Pete, why couldn't he just tell Chloe? I mean, she still wanted to smooch the kid who had telekinetic powers, I think she could handle Clark's revelation, at least the meteor freak one.

P.S. If I'm speculating about something that's already happened, please ignore it. :D I'm only on the third season, I'm getting the DVD's from the library because my TV doesn't really get.....anything.

I think I liked the first season the best too. All I know is, I really liked Clark with Lana. Even though you know he's supposed to love Lois Lane, I still like Lana, lol. But Lois is such a CRAZY cool character on Smallville. She's hilarious.

Lex and McQueen's old friend from school came back only to kill them and their old school friends. He managed to kill 2 of them and he attempted to kill Lex and Oliver as well but he did not succeed. It was a great episode!

Okay. Time to post my beef with Smallville.

First thought was it was an awesome show. I was hooked all through ( i think) the fourth season, watching reruns of the 2cn+3rd season on saturday nights. But then when the season finale came i got mad and stopped watching it.
I'm mad at the charecters. Clark can eb really dumb. he had a few really good chances to talk to Lana but he never did because he wanted to 'protect her'. So he ends up breaking up with her wich hurts her more than if he'd told her and she'd died because of it. Now she's stuck with evil Lex. And thta irked me, too, that Clark didn't jsut kill Lex. I get the whole 'i can't kill my friend thing' but he'd made so many mistakes he could have at least done that and saved everyone else. Now Lex is gone and no one knows it because the stupid evil guy is took over.
Now Lana will be evil, too, and she hates Clark.
Honestly i thought lana was pretty great because she stukc with Clark much longer than anyone should have, and was really sweet until he got mean with her. I don't really like Louis because she can be a bit pushy and over-energetic. Chloie is real nice.
Thats my basic stand on everything. Not sure exactly how things are, because the lats episode i saw was the first half of the season finale (hate it when they do that) and Clark was stuck in some flat diomond shaped thing floating in outer space, and Lana was with Evil Lex. So after that i stopped watching because for me, having Clark get over hismelf and tell Lana the truth was the main reason i kept watching the show. when he didnt i just got all disgusted and barely managed ot watch the sieason finale.
So. I think its a good show, jsut that the story-line sucks.
I do love the song at the beginning though. I even bought this paler blue t-shirt with the superman symbol on the front, and on the back, in yellow words, 'save me!' and i do miss watching the show...its jsut been ruined for me.

Yeah, the producer said they wanted it that way so that they can get more done in a day, instead of them getting an education throughout the day. I love the sixth season though, and I can't wait until tonight's episode.

The reason why Marvel has kicked DC's butt is that Marvel writers, from the VERY beginning, tried to write actual human feelings into their characters, whereas DC characters (although the force of competition compelled some improvement in this area) tended to be much less believable as people.

Lionel is DEAD!! D-E-A-D!! I have watched just a few episodes this season, but if I had cable right now I would be watching that over and over and over and over and over... I hate and despise Lionel. He's annoying and he's evil, no matter what he tells you.

I don't like what I've seen of Smallville this season. They keep going farther and farther from what makes the characters fun. Clark barely does anything but whine and do things that Superman/Clark would never do with a girl. Yeah, I'm not too impressed.

I watch it and is a pretty cool show although the writting something leaves a lot to be desired when comparing to shows like Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis or the New Battlestar Galactica for example...

I am currently going through each season. Except that I started with Season 4. DA (Don't ask) so I'm going 1/5 2/5 2/6 3/6 I alternate basically between seasons. It's kinda confusing. I actually like all the newer ones because Lois Lane rocks! I love Lois (not in a sketchy way) she's awesome!

I loved the show when it first came out, and I own seasons 1 and 2 on DVD. I want season 3 cause that was a great season too. But I didn't like season 4 or 5 so much, and I believe I got half way through season 6 when I stopped watching. I just can't get into it anymore. It had potential to be a fantastic show in my eyes, but it got kind of old...most of the the whole Lana and Clark deal >_> Don't know if that is still going on, but I hoped that would end as soon as Louis entered the picture, but nope it was still around. But I do LOVE seasons 1-3 and part of season 4 ^_^;

Actually a little fun fact, the guy who plays Chloe's boyfriend (i've caught a few newer episodes) is Shawn Ashmore's (Bobby/Iceman from x-men) twin brother Aaron Ashmore. I know they are TWO of them ^__^ ::swoon::
