Have you guys ever heard of these? I think they are pretty good! And very interesting!
Cecilia Dart-Thornton is a great auther!!!

Yes, I have read these. I liked them, which is what kept me going right through to the end - they were very hard work to read! Not a "light" story at all! Possibly could have used a bit of pruning here and there (some of the slogging through swamps/mazes/nasty things went on and on) but she mostly kept the plot moving.

Do you know if she's written anything else?

I read them and thought they were very good fantasy/sci-fi. She's got a new book that I've bought but haven't started yet.

finally i got my hands on the third book (of the trilogy) it was ok, but so sad i don't like sad endings
