Usually when actors/actresses sign on for a project, they sign for the possibility of a series as well.

Even if Tilda weren’t legally bound to the project, it would be in her best career interest to continue with the films. LWW was by far, her biggest movie yet.

What make you think she won't be coming back?

I read an interview somewhere (unless i'm going completely insane) that Tilda did want to come back for TMN, because it revealed a lot about Jadis' background. I'll try to find a link for it if can.
