RECIPE FOR TURKISH DELIGHT
Take one magic oil dispenser. Pull the glass stopper and tilt it until one drop of magic oil falls into the snow. Serves one.

I BELIEVE IN NARNIA
athough maybe it just...such a dream to be real. And maybe it something 'unrealistic'.
But,I don't know.I just believe it and hoping to find it.
And for the recipe of Turkish Delight,I have one=(but I haven't tried it yet) :p
Turkish Delight
Ingredients
Makes about 500g (18 oz)
Water - 250 ml (8 fl oz)
Gelatine - 25g (1 oz)
Sugar - 400g (14 oz)
Citric acid - ¼ tsp
Vanilla essence - ½ tsp
Triple-strength rose water - 2 tsp
Pink food colouring - few drops, optional
Icing sugar - 50g (2 oz)
Cornflour - 25g (1 oz)
Procedure
• Place the water in a large saucepan and sprinkle the gelatine on to the liquid. Set aside until the gelatine is spongy. Add the sugar and citric acid, place the pan over a gentle heat and stir constantly until dissolved. Bring the mixture to the boil and boil for 20 minutes without stirring. Remove from the heat and allow to stand for 10 minutes.
• Stir in the vanilla essence, rose water and colouring if used. Pour into a wetted 15 cm (6 inch) square baking tin. Leave uncovered in a cool place for 24 hours.
• Sift the icing sugar and cornflour together on to a sheet of greaseproof paper. Turn the Turkish delight on to the paper and cut into squares using a sharp knife dipped in the icing sugar mixture. Toss well in the mixture, so that all the sides are coated. Pack in airtight containers lined with waxed paper and dusted with the remaining icing sugar and cornflour

i believe in narnia, not as though i will go into a wardrobe, and find myself there, but i believe that that is what heaven could be like, and aslan is god, and that narnia is real if u imagine it to be real, and it is not, if u don't imagine it to be, i think that it is real in my mind, and i think that is all that counts
srry

I Believe In Narnia!

Sadly, I don't believe in Narnia. I say sadly because I wish I did believe, it would mean I still have child-like innocence in a way, and I really do wish I still had that and was 7 years old again. :) I'm not saying all you who do believe are all innocent or naive or anything like that, though. (I'm not sure what I'm saying, really). I want it to be real, but I just don't think it is. But it exists in my mind when I read the books. :p

I think Narnia is based off Heaven and Aslan is Christ. And Heaven is thought to be whatever you make of it, so in a way, yes there is a Narnia for all of us.

i agree with you William's Queen cause really i think that is what c.s.lewis aimed for with his books there are so many signs that this is a christian book series mainly cause in the end of VODT he said that he is in our world but known as someone else and even though i knew from LWW that Aslan was God and Narnia was like Heaven i knew it was a christian story and all that stuff when he said that it seemed to change me

I know that Narnia is a real but we must all take the journey of life before we get there
I don't know if I believe in Narnia.
I believe that Heaven will be similar, cause it will be more than we can take in(like in Last Battle), and I think there might be talking animals in new earth/heaven---find out more at the Talking Beasts in Narnia in Religions forum.
Its possible--I won't say there is and won't say there isn't.

I believe Lewis based the Aslan character on Christ, and becomes apparent throughout the series the big attraction of Narnia isn't simply talking animals and mythical creates, but ASLAN Himself. That being the case, then yes, we can come to the place where we are forever in fellowship with Aslan, with Christ. Hurray!
i believe there is somewhat a world like narnia or a world besides earth just because of the fact that we live inside one galaxy among many galaxies. who's to say we are the only living creatures with a conscious throughout the whole universe?
there's just has to be something else out there besides us. i mean what's on the other side of the sun? maybe there is another solar system just like ours?
EveningStar

I think Narnia is what Earth could have been if we had not made several unfortunate choices.
Matter of factly, I believe that the different orders of angels are of different ages. As if some are doctors, some masters of science, others bachelors, some high school graduates, a few sophamores...etc. The highest ranking are the oldest and most experienced.
I believe this arose because there have always been worlds created by God and those worlds ended as Narnia ended and as our world shall end.
Pick any one of them and call it Narnia. Yes, in that sense, it existed.

I believe that Narnia exists in the hearts of the fans, and that's all that matters. Just thinking about Narnia gives me the warm fluffies!! :D I am not, however, a religious person, so though it is supposed to represent Christianity, it doesn't mean that to me. It simply means that those who believe in something can find happiness in the end: you can remove the religious part and have a nice saying for everyday life! :)

Logically Narnia isnt real.
You sound like Susan... ...but I believe in Narnia. I've tried telling myself that it isn't real because it's the only "realistic" thing...but I just can't allow myself to say it. Whenever I do something inside of me dies, so I've come to the conclusion it's either real in the physical universe...or we will all one day be able to see it as heaven. (plus, Narnia ended in the last battle, so anything can happen along those lines)

How is it logically not real? Did you not listen to the professor? I really Do believe in Narnia. I wish that I will be able to go to the new Narnia some day. Not only do I feel that Narnia is real through the books, movies and the imagination of all people who believe, but I also believe that metaphorically it is heaven, and who says that God did not create other worlds. To say that he didn't or couldn't have is to put limits on the creativity of God.

If I read CoN again I'd probably be back to firmly believing that Narnia actually IS real, but when dad got me a copy, he got the Collector's Edition, having no idea that it would be the only book I read for months. Now it's literally in shreds. I need a cheap(as if!) paperback copy now. But they cost WAY more than I ever have...too many candy bars just BEGGING to be bought at Walmart. :D
