Here's a poem I've wrote about Aslan, it's composed roughly in Iambic pentameter.
Hope you like it :o
Through the blinding darkness a voice calls
It beckons to me, a feeling of warmth
It penetrates my heart, so strong
So potent it ensnares my senses
Leading me blindly, yet I feel free
Aslan, Aslan, that is his name
King of all beasts, with shining mane
Peircing the darkness, a banner of truth
My soul is awakened, nourished and pure
He warns of the darkness, that evil force
It must be defeated, no matter what
The Deep magic has been conjured
It thirsts, hungers to be appeased
Yet an innocent shall step forth
O He shall die, quite readily
Yet she does not know, the Deeper source still
That for he who is willing, the curse shall brake
Death will be denied, O he shall return
Send Peter to battle, in the King's name
We shall win, overcoming the darkness
Aslan is on the move, we are saved.
