It's awesome stuff! What precisely did you have in mind? I personally find quite wonderful the fact that Paul calls redemption the forgiveness of sins, meaning that forgiven-ness is a state of being rather than (as most seem to live) a condition we variously enjoy or lose hold of when we stumble and sin. Our being forgiven is part of our nature, part of us being purchased by His blood. It is sonship.

How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He's the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son. Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we're a free people--free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free!

For those of us who don't have the passage memorized in our heads ...
"Not just barely free, either. Abundantly free!"

not that it matters, but i perfer NASB or ESV so i am going to post that as well up here, so if it's all the same...
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
4just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him In love
5He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,
6to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.
7In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace
This is something that I have recently memorized. Just as Aslan called the children into Narnia, so to has our Beloved Savior choosen us and calls us to Himself. This is such a beautiful pic of our salvation!!
