Unsure Prayer

Okay y'all, here's the deal. My parents are Atheists or Agnostics.. I don't like to bring the subject up with them much. My dad is originally in that case a non-practicing Jew, and my mom Roman Catholic. When I was little it didn't seem to bug me so much that my parents were'nt religious, because in Hungary I barely noticed, but then I moved here, and everybody pesters you with questions. For the past two years I have been going to an Episcopal Church with my friend to sing, and I really don't know what to believe in anymore. This is such a tiny request compared to everyone else's, but it's important to me that I find myself so if you could please pray for me I'd be really grateful.

well tweetsie it seems to me you r not searching for yourself but hungering for the right path.... for God. personaly I believe that Jesus Christ is the true Lord and Savior but I will definitly pray that you find Him.

I'll be praying for you Tweetsie. I, myself, am a Christian and I'm going to echo what NKandSKforever said. Everyone needs God, and I'm hoping you'll find Him.

Yes, I'll pray that you find God. You will be so lost, the rest of your life if you don't find Him. And once you pray to accept Jesus Christ and start reading the Bible you're life will never be the same. And your request is not small everybody matters.

I am praying for you, Tweetsie. And for your folks, too. It's clear Christ is calling you, and I believe you will follow Him when He makes Himself real to you. My pal Basilides would say: immerse yourself in music and literature that you like, and like CS Lewis, you will feel the winds of joy blowing to you from another land, with the scent of the One who loves you on every breeze.

You will definitely be in my prayers as well. It does seem obvious that God is calling you. If you keep searching you will find your answer. And as you can tell from the other posts, we feel we know what answer you are looking for. But we can't force you to find God, you must do that on your own. And God does appear to be calling you. The fact that you seem to be open to it is a very good sign that you are close!! And when you find it then hopefully you will be able to lead your parents down that path as well.
