Did Leiws and Tolkin eat bree when they got together? Theres a hourse called Bree in The CON and a town called Bree in TLOTR. Is this just a coincidence?

No, it wasn't a coincidence. Lewis named the horse in honor of Tolkein's town. Remember, Tolkien read the entire Lord of the Rings to the Inklings chapter by chapter, so Lewis knew the story.
Naming a horse after a town sounds kind of odd to me, but that's what he did!

Try and say that in a sentence! haha and it's funny when Bree asks Shasta's name - Shasta tells Bree, and Bree says, "now that is really hard to pronounce!"

There are many things in the CoN that were borrowed from the LotR. For example, the rings in MN were a tribute to LotR. (there are others, but I cannot think of them at the top of my head) However, Tolkein didn't mind, because he felt he owed a debt to Lewis for helping and encouraging Tolkein during the 12 years it took to write LotR

Lewis also borrowed the name "Numenor" for his space trilogy, only he spelled it "Numinor". I seem to recall Tolkien didn't like that much at all, first because Numenor was so important to his mythology, and second because Lewis spelled it wrong!

Well, they actually where good friends in real life, so it is possible that they both used that name on purpose for whatever reason. :)
