Gallery: The Resurrection of Aslan in the CTW Film

I have a series of screen captures which depict the resurrection of Aslan as close as you'll ever come to seeing the book's version on screen.

I plan to add a low-bitrate rip of the audio track to go with it so you can get some hint of the grandeur of the sweeping music. Of course I encourage you to buy the film on DVD, if only to see this scene as the director intended.

Nicely done. While I don't get much out of the Biblical connotations as an atheist, I agree that the animated film undoubtedly did the best resurrection scene compared to the BBC and the new film. The backlit Aslan, with that magnificent echoing voice (even if I do half expect him to say "By the power of Grayskull!" every now and then :p), is an imposing figure.
