How do you feel about Prince Caspian being made next? Personally, I think they should do Magician's Nephew, but since the kids are growing up so fast, it's probably best that they get the ones that have all four kids while Anna, William, and Skandar are not in their twenties. Which one do you think they'll make after Prince Caspian? I hope they make The Last Battle, but we'll have to wait and see.

Voyage of the Dawn Treader, most probably... just the logical progression of the story as seen from our universe, not to mention the published order of the book...

Like I said in another thread (http://www.narniafans.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2822) on film order, I doubt very much The Last Battle will ever make it to the screen as I can't see how it could be made palatable to a modern audience. They would basically have to cut the entirety of the closing five chapters due to their overt religiosity, not to mention the racist terminology (whether or not Lewis realised it was racist at the time). To give one notorious and controversial example, the Dwarves repeatedly refer to the Calormenes as 'darkies', which has long been a cause for critical debate.
On the other hand, Mel Gibson managed to get The Passion of the Christ made by funding it independently, so that is one possibility, though I imagine a major studio has already bought the rights to Narnia (Disney, perhaps? Though they may have only bought it for certain books).
Having said that, I would be fascinated to see how a script writer might adapt The Last Batte if a major studio did release it.

I'm practically positive that its going to be Voyage Dawn Treader, because it has Edmund and Lucy in it. The real question is..what will come after that.

I'm glad they're making PC next b/c that was how the books were originally.
I also think they'll make VDT next and then hopefully SC.:D

The general audience didn't have any issues with the Stone Table in LWW, did they?

They could leave the word "darkies" out of the Last Battle. And like Gibby said, they had no problem with the Stone Table scene in LWW. And I've read on IMDb.com, that Walden Media has optioned (or in other words, have the right to) make the rest of the books. I think they should make the movies in the original way the books were numbered. But then again, that's just my opinion.

That is rather less obvious than the chapters I'm referring to in The Last Battle, and one brief moment which could be interpreted as Christian in the midst of a fantasy narrative. The Last Battle is the other way round; there are brief moments of fantasy narrative in the midst of Christian allegory (and unlike The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, there is little 'could' about it).
