serching for info on my birth mum

I am very nervous i was adopted a a little baby and i am trying to fine infomation bout her please pray that im doing the right thing.

As long as your search does not negate any love or care you received from your adopted parents, it's merely a search for truth. And truth is the language of God.

You should be sensitive toward the people who, rather than being surprised by your arrival, carefully and deliberately chose you to receive their love.

Now comes the hard part. The woman that gave you up for adoption, your birth mother, may feel regret in the act and may even have grieved at not keeping you for her very own. Then again, it is quite possible you were an inconvenience, bad news from a doctor. Or you may have even been taken for your protection. Learning any one of these things may hurt you deeply.

There's a story about a young man who, with graduation day approaching, asked his father for a new rifle. It would cost $100. The father smiled and slightly nodded, and it seemed sure that a wish would come true. Then on the day of graduation, the young man received his present. He opened the papers on the small box and found it was a new Bible. Angry and disgusted, he never forgave his father, and the box ended up unopened in his attic.

Years later as a middle aged man who had just buried his estranged father, he chanced across the box and opened it. Not only did the Bible have a real leather cover with his name stamped on it in gold leaf, but nestled inside was a crisp new $100 bill with a note, "Seek and ye shall find."

Of course you may ask why the father didn't just give him the rifle. But it also leads us to ask why the son never read the Bible. Sometimes you don't find what you're looking for in the places you seek it. Perhaps your real mother isn't the woman that bore you. Keep that in mind, and whatever happens, God bless you.

thank you. my adoptive parants know that i love them and c them as my real parants and i am not angry at my birth mum because she gave me up im sure there is a good reson for it.
