Gone are the days and the great warmth of old,
All i know now is this blistering cold,
The Sun doth not rise to greet such dark days,
Blind am i now to its glistening rays.
This feeling of void never have i felt,
To sting so much as to make my soul melt,
My heart now mishapen in ways unknown,
Emotions resound like and endless groan.
My memories spiral in fear and despair,
Remembering pain from those i saw fair,
For no I fear i can no longer touch,
That feeling called love that I crave so much.
It is quite bizarre to know I have God,
Directing me with the might of His rod,
And yet all I see is the road ahead,
O will i find love before I am dead?
