As a person, I'm not impressed with his choices in life. I think he needs a lot more guidance. As an actor, I'd say he's average looking, fairly cute. But he was always a bit young for me...

What Radcliffe does in his personal life is concerning Radcliffe alone. By the way, from what I heard, he is a nice person, who cares a lot about Earth, so he'll by an atmosphere-friendly FIAT and not Lamborghini, for example. But I am interested in his acting and as Harry Potter, he is great - check the last movie.
His private life is not and should not be of my interest. That's why it is called private, after all.

He's coming out with December Boys another movie and he's doing nasty stuff in there too. In an interview he said that he would sleep with a groupie as long as they don't call out "harry" in the bed. He's just getting really gross. I wouldn't be surprised if he looked at dirty magazines in his spare time.

I'm not a huge Dan obsessor, but I really like his acting and he isn't ugly. We just need to pray that he gets back on the right track, not shun him like he's Satan :rolleyes:

Listen, I know how you feel Hannah. When I first came to this forum people bashed me down because I liked Dan and HP and it was a "Narnia Forum" then (like I didn't know that already). I started threads about Dan and people said he was ugly and what not on them which made me really upset. I haven't called him ugly but I just don't like him like I did a year ago. He's changed so much and he's acting so different.

Hm, well he is neither handsome nor ugly in my opinion.

I know a lot of people have an issue with his playing that role in Equus. First of all, as an actor, don't you think Daniel REALLY wants to shed his role of Harry Potter, prove that he can do other stuff? Do you know how many actors out there have almost no reputation other than the one-time role they played as the lead in some kid's movie? You see it everywhere, actors do NOT want to be a one-time thing, they don't want to be the child actor who's never heard of again.

I think Daniel just wanted to try something else, gain experience and learn. I've read many of his interviews, and he did not choose any of his more adult roles because of the nudity or the content, he did it because it was an excellent opportunity to learn and grow as an actor. In fact, he was highly uncomfortable and nervous about some of the scenes he had to do at first, but really, you get over that and it's no big deal. It's his job. He's not going to sit around and watch the world call him "the Harry Potter kid" for the rest of his life, and I respect his career move. Hey, if it helps him move past Harry Potter and on to bigger roles, good for him. While I can't say I think he's as gifted as a lot of people think he is at acting, he's learning and he's eager, and I give him all the credit and the world for that.
