This is the funniest movie ever! I love the killer rabbit and God. "What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?"
"African or European?"
"Why, I don't know. AAAAHHHH!!!!"
"Sir! How do you do it?"
"Well, you have to know these things when you're a king, you know?"

The movie is very funny! It started ridiculous with that weird talk and I thought the end was even more ridiculous with the cops :p
And then the french!! I thought it was one of the most funniest movies ever.

It is not only the funniest movie, it is also the greatest movie of all time. There is nothing better than that British wit and the players in the Monty Python troupe do it so wonderfully.
So many historical inaccuracies, my major in history tries to run and hide from that movie, but it simply can't. And the jokes that are witty and smart and at the same time stupid and trivial.
Dennis: If some watery tart loped a scimitar at me and I claimed to be emperor I'd be locked...strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

I love the british sense of humor anyway. It is so cool and I thought the part with the king and his son was hilarious.
And then that stupid riddle!! To pass the bridge :D Or the bunny. Never mess with a bunny.

Good stuff. The holy hand grenade is an awesome piece of holy warfare. I love it how the rogue knight kill someone in the real world and all, lol.

It's certainly an excellent film, though its hard to say whether its as good as Life of Brian. What makes Monty Python's comic interpretation of the Grail legend so fantastic is the depth of historical knowledge they bring to it. For example, Terry Jones studied medieval history at Oxford (an interest which was clearly on display in his recent series, Terry Jones' Medieval Lives), which has strongly impacted his writing career. The mud-strewn appearance of the peasants is one of my favourite scenes.

I have the dvd Meaning of life but I haven't watched it yet. I wonder if this one will be as funny as The holy Grail.

The Meaning of Life is great. You should watch it as soon as you get a chance.

Hmm. The Meaning of Life was good by normal standards, but not up to the level the Python's set themselves in the aforementioned two films. However, it does have a number of excellent sketches, like the satirical take on sex education near the start of the film, and the mock-epic battle between two office blocks was relatively entertaining (at least, its stuck in my mind in the years since I last saw the film, so memorable if nothing else :p ).

Oh, wow. Monty Python. Made up of the few greatest British comedians of their time. This movie is a classic, you find all ages quoting it and it's just like; Wow, that's still around? The sense of humour's great and let us not forget dear Patsy. ^ ^

"And we've all been rather naughty. You shall have to spank ALL of us!"
"Yes, and then comes the oral sex."
"ORAL SEX?!"
*Lancelot bursts in*
"Quickly come with us! You have no idea how much peril you're in!"
"Can't I have a little bit of peril?"
