What does everyone think of the new Narnia logo?
New Logo (http://www.narniafans.com/index.php?subaction=showfull&id=1096576443&archive=&start_from=&ucat=1&)
It makes me think of a circus.

I like it. I think it has an air of the old Lord of the Rings logo to it.

That's about the impression I got. Souldn't the logo have a more 'epic' feel it it? It lookes rather juvinile.

It does remind me a bit of a circus, I kinda wish it didn't have the little frills on it. But otherwise, it's pretty good! I like the solid pale gold one on http://www.narnia.com/. I know it's the same design, but I like it simple. It looks stronger. I dunno, I'm rambling....

That one is much better! The gold instead of the red makes it look less kiddy.

I like the sweeping "lion's" tail on the "R", especially on the all-gold version...

I love the way they put the lines around "and." It makes it seem like they're saying, "Oh yeah, we don't just have the Lion and the Witch, but we've got the wardrobe too!"

I like that -it's got just the right 'feel' to it! The colour is great, i would assume linkied to the Narnian standard of the red lion? Good and recognisable, and the tail on the R is a nice effect!

hmm, i dunno. it feels kinda like a western, its like font you usually read just before you enter the saloon. maybe the NARNIA font aint so bad but the "Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" part really needs work. too much curvy stuff.
oh and i think the colors are a little off too. the official website has the colors set to gold and green combination colors and it looks great. the ycan consider changing the colors for the official logo then.

I like that the "Narnia" font has a 3-D feel, but the face of the font in red is 2-D which I tihnk gives it a "kiddy" or "circusy" effect. "The Chronicles of" fot looks good to me. And as was said earlier "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" has too many random squiggles on it, it's just too much.

Yes, it is bold and it is traditional which to me makes me feel like they are going to honor the real heart of the movie. Which is playful like a circus in some points -- but a traditional circus is also about more of a somber, serious humor... the clowns do laugh but they also cry, right?

And kill people. Clowns.
Anyway, I like the logo! (But I hate the circus.)

The red various sized letters in a kind of banner are what makes people think of the circus, but I prefer not to think of the circus at all.

Huh? sadly you are mistaken my dear boy..Mount Pire..the mountains around Archenland...up beyond the waterfall and Cauldron Pool..Apologies for feeling the need to point that out, I'm very picky today and it's not helped by the current health kick which means no ciggies. boo. Sorry if i'm alittle grouchy over the next few months.

Aha!!! I'm going to be even more picky. Archenland isnt technically Narnia is it!?!?! Thus my point proven - no mountains in Narnia. Cauldron Pool is only vaguely in Narnia and would more be cnosidered the Wild Western lands. Thus, once more, point proven!!! :p
Oooo!! And good one with the ciggies - you'll thank yourself in 30 years - when youre still alive!!!

there goes yonder pedant!
You are right of course..and I've achieved a new record. 48hrs after the last one, I had half a ciggie..i'm very ashamed. But I've only got 4 left and I won't smoke them all tomorrow. I have no will power. only wind power.

from the trailer, it looks like the only place where they show mountains is in the background at the battle and at the Stone Table location. I don't recall it ever saying there were not mountains. And of course, there are mountain ranges at the north end of Archenland, which does border the south end of Narnia. Those could be the mountains we see far in the distance at the battle scene.
I don't remember Narnia described as having great mountains, but the White Witch's palace is between to large hills, and the Stone Table is on a great hill. But since it also doesn't say it had no mountains, seeing mountains in the movie doesn't bother me.
