Prince Caspian for the movie?

Is Prince caspian for the next movie after the lion,the witch, and the wardrobe? Please tell me, coz I never hear the news about Narnia after I saw the movie (sadly)...
Or the horse and his boy for the next?
Or maybe Magician's Nephew?

Prince Caspian WILL be the next movie. I read that the four Pevenies already signed, even though it has not been announced.

It makes sense it would be Prince Caspian, as audiences will be familiar with the four children and when you get a blockbuster like this it'd be strange to go switching characters completely around and confusing moviegoes like that. For that reason, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if somehow Peter and Susan are written in to 'The Voyage of the Dawn Treader' with Edmund taking Eustance's roll as the rotter. I wouldn't like it but I can see why they'd do it.

Oh thank's for the infos... I'll wait for that movie. But the book told us that Susan and Peter won't come back to Narnia again,rite? So sad...

I think that they're going to make them in order of most exciting/battle heavy, and that is because of one thing:

Although I really hope they don't... Magician's Nephew/VotDT will probably be overlooked as they don't really have major battles/tense parts (Yes I know they do have some battles and tense scenes, but they're nothing in comparison to HaHB/TSC/TLB)...

I do hope they do VotDT. That's one of my favorite of the series. I don't think they should do MN since it should have been the first movie if they were going to make it. Making it now would seem pointless. Unless they made it right before or split up the beginning of TLB. And put the beginning of TLB at the beginning of the Magician's nephew and then made it a flashback for Diggory before the train crash. But it wouldn't really fit.

I think they should make the movies with Peter lucy Edmund and Susan so they have the oraginal people playing the characters but not relesae it untill later b/c it looks better when the same cast plays the same charcters b/c it is confusing if u don't that is my opinon about it! :o :rolleyes:

The movies will be staying true to the books throughout, that was one of the promises made by Walden Media. The next film will be Prince Caspian. Douglas Gresham is currently working on the script. Andrew Adamson is directing and all four kids have resigned. No other decisions have been made as of yet.

Will, you have to remember that in the book they age as well, usually a year :P So they want them to age. Or am I missing the point of your post entirely xD

Yeah, I really want to see VotDT. MN? They could come back to do it but it's not as exciting as the rest; but it's been done before to come back for a movie they missed (Star Wars?)
