Y. Fish
09-26-2004, 11:55 AM
Well, yes, cheese does give you calcium and everything, but so do milk and orange juice. They don't have as much saturated fat as cheese. But cheese is still tasty.

black cloak
09-26-2004, 12:16 PM
but you cant make nachos with out cheese

TrueCrusader
09-26-2004, 10:24 PM
B1!
DONT SAY THAT WORD SPECTER SPECTER THIS IS A FAMILY FRIENDLY SIGHT!!!
THAT IS A BAD WORD!!!!!!!!!!

black cloak
09-26-2004, 10:27 PM
it is not that bad of a word

TrueCrusader
09-26-2004, 10:29 PM
its still a bad word black! And this is a family friendly sight! and still If i was caught saying that in my house I would get in alot of trouble!!!!!1
Can i call you blacky its got a ring to it....

black cloak
09-26-2004, 10:31 PM
you can call me whatever you want ;) ;)

Specter
09-27-2004, 12:23 AM
Well, "Crap" could be considered bad, because it's merely standing in for another, stronger word. There's a name for doing this, I don't remember what it's called, though.

As a family oriented site, I think that this word, however tame, might be best left alone right now. It happened, it's done, it's one post in nearly 10,000 posts so far. I consider Homestar Runner family friendly, and Strong Bad says "crap" all the time. I'd say, let's leave it be for now. If it becomes an epidemic though, then we'll have a problem. Let's just leave this be for now.

B1-66ER
09-27-2004, 12:48 AM
Crap is definatly not a bad word at all. If you consider what I could have said instead.

But, its also just a word. If it offends you, let me know and I will stop. Some people are sensitive to certian things like that, which is fine. And if you are sensitive to that, then I will respect that and stop. It's not even that big of a deal to me, I can just find a more innocent word to use. :)
How about: " What the snap? "

rosymole
09-27-2004, 04:37 PM
I find cheese best eaten with crackers of some description. Maybe Matzos, or cracker bread? A good smoked cheese is my favourite, as long as it's not too dry. ( or horrid and rubbery like some Bavarian smoked cheese)

Oh, fondue! Probably the best cheese based dish ever! And you can claim it's really healthy by dipping carrots and things in it.

Cheesyfact: did you know if you have a cold or a bad cough you shouldn't eat too much cheese ro dairy products becuase they increase mucus production in the body (i felt compelled to share)

ok, a little control neede her i think... Jarlsberg, Red Leicester, Camanbert (sp?) Goats (personal fave there!), Mozzarella, Brie, and Mexican Cheese - if you';ve had this before do, it's incredible, andhas little bits of chilli in it - very exciting for cheese enthusiasts.

I can't understand why no-one has yet mentioned the incredibly funny Monty Python cheese shop sketch!

DEGEMA IS STAR WARS :P :P !!!! I remember a couple of deep space nine episodes! I think it was in the alpha qualdrant! But you said degema! ITS DELTA!!! Besides I do now believe there where in the delta qualdrant! I think it was alpha or beta, ect.
But the delta qualdrant is many many many light years away from alpha! thats why the borg have been left alone for so many years! In fact There are no borg in kirks star trek! ande you call yourself a star trek fan!

PS. If I make a mistake here please tell me I have not seen star wars for along time! But i still know my star trek!

ALSO JAYNE WAY STINKS KIRK RUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS
Ok, first of all your post is very hard to read. Second the "degema" expance was descovered in deep space 9 Star Wars simply used the name for Yoda's planet. Now you were right Deep Space 9 was in the Beta quadraunt however, it was relocated in the third season to the delta quadraunt after they discovered the Borg. It was used as a first defence!

DUDE!
The delta qualdrant was not discovered until the borg attacked! the delta qualdrant was to far away to get to! You would have to travel 100 years in warp 5.0 or 6.0 to get to the delta qualdrant! And somebody says that like pakard or jayne way or some guy! beside the borg didn't apear until like season 3 or 4 of star trek voyager!!!!!!! besides the federation where to busy fighting the klingons to move to the delta qualdrant!

(I dont remeber the tech-no-bable so forgive me)

Cheese produces a strange chemical reaction in the brain thus leading people to write and/or understand the more intriuging sides of the gnre ( of course ther's no eal proof for ) just a cheese addicts confused ramblings. Speaking of cheese, it's dinner time here so I'm going to eat, oh possibly some cheese.

Ok, let me clarify something. The station Deep Space 9 was in the delta quadrant for two or three episodes. After that if was pulled out, however I could be wrong because watching Star Trek re-runs at three in the morning does interesting things too the mind. (It might of been that they sent a battle cruiser to the degema expance, but I really don't know anymore!)

At this point Black, I wouldn't mind if you ate your fuzzy cheese. (kidding, life would be so boring without you)

And only feed it to your brother if it's an older brother. (Middle child syndrom taking the best of my emotions again :D )

"Meow meow" is kind of random and off topic, which is why i created this thread here (http://www.narniafans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=303&st=120).

I believe the topic is "Cheese" so back to the topic:

Why do you guys talk about cheese so much?
