I'm afraid to ask but is anyone here a SciFi fan and does any of those fans watch StarGate and also if so did you happen to catch this episode friday night on the opening of the second half of the show's season?
I for one absolutely loved this episode!
It was very moving and had an incredible spiritual message to it contained inb both the self sacrifices of Orlin and Gerak in the end and in the statement that Teal'c gave to Gerak What is the true measure of a God, the scope of his power or how he chooses to wield it?
That is so very true...
I mean most of us here as christians we know that in the end the Antichrist himself will make miracles and all kinds of wonders and so on.
But we know God not just because he is God and all powerful and mighty but because of how he chooses to wield the power he has.
The blible clearly states that he makes the sun shine and the rain fall on both just and unjust...
And finally and more importantly we know him because of his unending love, mercy and compassion so much so that he gave his one and only son so we could be saved.
God bless...
