How about we have a game of movie trivia for TLWW?

The questions would only be from what you saw in the movie only.

Whoever answers correctly asks the next question.

~Rogue~
01-04-2006, 07:46 PM
Stale bread and a frozen cup of water.

Here's one.

What colour are the Witch's eyes after she kills Aslan?

georgeknarnia
01-04-2006, 07:48 PM
they are black because her pupils have dilated...it was on purpose by AA and Tilda, they decided that every time she killed her pupils would dilate like a cat so they used special contact lenses (sorry i just thought it was a great touch lol)

~Rogue~
01-04-2006, 07:48 PM
Brilliant. Now you have to post a question.

georgeknarnia
01-04-2006, 07:55 PM
What are the White Witch's first words to Edmund?

lamer
01-04-2006, 08:35 PM
From someone who has only seen it once you know alot about Jadis don't you? :P

Anyways, tough question. I thought she said something along the lines of "who dares...etc..." and called him a son of Adam. Not sure though.

georgeknarnia
01-04-2006, 08:47 PM
I actually will not be the best authority here as like u say I'v only seen it once...but i THINK the dwarf takes lines that were hers in the book like "is that how you adress a queen" and "you'll know her better hereafter".... and i THINK her line is something like 2what brings you here son of adam" which if i recall correctly (its been a long time since i read it too) is different from her line in the book, where she asks what he is (is that right?) and thensays "you mean to say you are a son of adam?" ...

please correct me here i may be way off

btw, yes i know a fair few trivia bits, and quite a bit about Jadis as she's the one that alwasy interested me the most...and i like reading the articles about the little details like the contacts, as i think the little things like that really impressed me

Corin Thunder-Fist

What are the White Witch's first words to Edmund?

Seen the movie 5 times, and if I remember correctly her first words TO EDMUND are: "What is your name, Son of Adam?"
Then, "Tell me, Edmund, how did you come to be in my dominion?"

Georgeknarnia was correct about the Dwarf taking some of Jadis's lines in that scene. It went something along the lines of:

Edmund: "Let me go."
Jadis: "What is it now Dinabrik?"
Edmund: "Make him stop, I didn't do anything wrong."
Dwarf: "Is that how you address the Queen of Narnia?"
Edmund: "I didn't know"
Dwarf: "Well, you will know hereafter"

I've got what I consider a challenging question (something I only noticed after watching it the 5th time). Did anyone else notice who it was listed in the credits as "Radio announcer"?

lamer
01-05-2006, 12:34 AM
Douglas Gresham. :D

Hmm... in which direction does Cair Paravel lie from the Aslan's How (er, stone table)?

Now I've gotta go see the movie again, thanks alot. Heh, jk. It's obviously on the Eastern shore, but where it is in relation to Aslan's How I'm not sure. I want to say South but I don't know if that's correct.

kisha
01-08-2006, 10:19 PM
that is right....the boys have swords....Peter's sword has the lion's head hilt...his sheild is there too....susan's horn and arrows are on hers....Lucy's vial, dagger and flowers are on hers....Edmund's is hard to make out...cause it is only shown briefly...but there is something there besides a sword...but I chould make it out....in essence...though...yep..you're right...the children's gifts are depicted on there throne...I guess i'll have to wait for the DVD to see what else is on Edmund's throne.....He didn't get a gift you know...or it might be appropriate to say....

His gift was Aslan's death to restore his own life.

Which is why they a quiet rendition of Aslan's theme in the music when Edmund is crowned instead of the children's theme. Susan has a quiet rendition of the children's theme played....and lucy has the wardrobe music played....and Peter has the Children's theme and Aslan's theme played together with each other as the finally of the coronation....listen to the "Beginning of the Adventure" on the soundtrack...or watch the movie again and you can hear this

I am going to be a film major so this isn't something i pulled out of my butt(not that i wanted too) the green screen can make your eyes all weird if you are around it too much. They use blue alot more with CGI as opposed to a screen a weatherman uses which is usually green. I think i heard that it is easier to cover blue as opposed to green.

Most people don't notice stuff like that but i used to watch movies with a friend and try to find all the mistakes. So sometimes i catch my self looking for things that are wrong.

Blue screens are used in Harry Potter for the invisibilty cloak scenes. When anything blue is put in front of a blue screen it disappears. Greens screens are used for adding CGI and stuff later on.

it is based on the film! the answer is Jewel!

onlymystory
01-12-2006, 01:05 AM
the unicorn is never named in the movie. first it is not jewel, Jewel is only in Last Battle (unicorns don't live forever), second in the books Peter doesn't actually ride a horse or any animal, the battle is fought on foot. This battle is much more elaborate. Remember people, if it wasn't mentioned in the movie, no questions. Book questions belong in the Narnian trivia thread.
