View Full Version : Oh no they didn't! LUCY+CASPIAN IN VOTD! SPOILER!

Guess what! I was surfing the web looking for pictures of ben barnes when i came across someone's blog that has seen the script for VOTD. she only leaked a few scene spoilers,but the one that got me mad the most was the fact was that that son of a gun andrew adamson(the director of the chronicles of narnia) decided that now Lucy has a crush on caspian,but he likes ramandu's daughter,so that's why she does that spell that makes her beautiful.Also they have a scene with lucy and caspian together...alone...talking. I mean having caspian with susan got me angry(for if you've read my post "what happened after narnia" you could see why) but now lucy? She looks way too young compared to Ben. I saw pictures of the premeir and she is way short.(georgie henely) Also,Ramandu's daughter was the reason the seven lords left,andrew decided to make her a blue light that keeps hovering around and stuff,and caspian keeps having dreams about her and falls in love or something.And when ustace turns into a dragon......Oh i'm just so mad. Andrew already screwed with PC enough,WHY? WHY MUST HE SCREW WITH VOTD? IT'S THE BEST ONE!!! AGGGGHHHH WHY!

First of all, Andrew is no longer doing Narnia. Secondly, are you sure that wasn't the FORMER disney plot?

To be honest, that sounds suspiciously like pieces of those old `leaked pages` from last year so I would treat that information with a pinch of salt. Since the blog also reveals that `Eustace has just been cast` this is clearly old stuff from last year.
A LOT has happened since then, Disney bailed, Fox took over, new writers and a new director were brought in and so on.
I doubt if much remains of the rough shooting script they had back then.

It does sound suspiciously like something that was leaked in June last year when Disney still had the franchise. I will not click on the link and won't read it just because I don't want to end up all angry like you. Anyway, I think they changed things a bit.

However (and this a BIG however), I always say that anything is possible in Hollywood movie making for the sake of easy money!!!

Concerning the beauty spell in Coriakin's magic book, the reason Lucy was tempted to use the spell was because of her jealousy about Susan's looks. People were always commenting about how beautiful Susan is and Lucy wanted people to think of her as beautiful, or more so, as Susan.

it says it in the PC bonus features that Andrew, Susan and Peter left.... I think they said only Peter might come back, in the Last Battle.

I get things mixed up alot.(especially when i read something about ben barnes,i told everyone the wrong thing:eek:)

It's not fan fiction,but i am pretty gullible.....hmmmmm.
The dreams about the stargirl are pretty good though,i hope they keep that.

Wow, I really hope that was an old script. I might possibly throw popcorn at the screen if that's what happens.

Anyway... looking forward to what the movie's like! Oh my gosh, talk about 2010 movies! Narnia, Harry Potter, and The Hobbit! *drools*

Thankfully that old script is gone. Mark said that they were going to try to stick to the books more on this film. I hope so. There's room in what he said for changes, but I pray they won't make many and that they'll be smarter about the ones they make this go around. Ben indicates that they stole from future books for this film. That doesn't help the future films at all, but there it is. I hope that they'll do it up right for VDT. That's the only movie I'm really wanting to see in 2010.

This same information got everyone all up in arms on the NFFR boards a few days ago, as well. I'm really glad to hear it's been debunked officially! VDT has the potential to be so stunning if done correctly. Any romance between Caspian and Lucy in the film would just be creepy because of the age difference between Ben and Georgie.

At the same time, well yeah. Still it's wrong.

Not only would it be against the books IF they did it ( whcih we must remember this script is trashed), there would also be anotehr problem. Much like the stuff between Caspian and Susan, there was no real romantic chemistry between them in PC. If you read adn watch any of the behind teh scenes stuff Ben became if anything, a fifth Pevensie, so it was very much a brotehr sistert hing. Now, Ben is going to be to Georgie what Will was. I think Lorraine Baines-McFly said it best in back to the Future," I feel like I'm kissing my brother."

That's perfectly fine,a brother sister relationship would be really sweet.
None of them have romantic chemistry on of OFF the set. I was online the other day and these people were posting that ben and anna would be so cute together and they should get married,yadda yadda yadda. But they really have nothing to do with each other. Kind of creepy that he would be accepted as the fifth pevensie and then kiss his "sister". I could've asked him if that was weird,but ben won't be showing up tomorrow.(I sent him an invitation to my party for my twelfth birthday and he called back but my sister answered the phone and i spaced that i said don't leave a message!:eek:) Anyway,i forgot he was in australia! double:eek:!!!!!!

i agree...also it could be some nut job just saying they have seen the script and putting up what they rekon it could be...the internet is full of wakos who claim to be many things and see many things......so there could be very little if any truth in what is claimed here
