Okay. I have a question: and I want to know how everyone feels. I have recently re-read parts of The Silver Chair. I want to know if you believe that Prince Rilian would have been right to see the bottom of the world or not. Thank you! :D:D:D

I can't imagine that Aslan would declare it morally wrong, but it might be impractical; and of course, such a detour would have caused Rilian to miss being able to say goodbye to his father.

How would he get back up? Would that environment have been conducive to human existence?

As an outdoorsman and Scout Leader I can tell you he would have probably maintained consciousness for about 15 - 30 minutes and died within the hour. Remember, the view wavered because of the heat in the air. All that and no night time, just nonstop sun and unremitting heat.

It's been a while since I read SC.

But didn't they just manage to get out in time? So no time for a visit to Bism, although I don't think it would be wrong to go there shortly. And perhaps exciting. If they had time for it. ;)
