If VDT is made, which is almost for sure, will Georgie and Skandar be too old. Will they change the fact that Caspian ages 3 year and the two Pevensie's age only 1 year. In the BCC they changed the actor for Caspian. And we will have a new bad boy gone good in Eustace. They can't keep Caspian to young because he is suppose to be old enough to be planing to get married. I think they are going to have to have older Pevensie's than the book has them, and the only true child will the Eustace. They will let Georgie and Skandar play thier age. It will look different than the book because you will have a bunch of teenagers playing teenagers. :)

I predict that Georgie and Skandar will be used (though of course we never know). Regardless of their true age, they will be fine to star in VDT . i would also rpedict they will use the same actor for caspian

I agree. They can simply give him a new hairstyle to make him look older...and the fact that he's dressed as a king (instead of whatever they choose to dress him in in PC) would make him appear older. They can do things to make him look older without changing the actor in my opinion. It's just like watching those movies where the school nerd becomes the prom queen...they geek them up at the start and then give them a first rate makeover later on. Same person, but they look alot different.

It shouldn't be too much of a problem. Georgie and Skandar should be fine. The same goes for the actor who'll play Caspian. I mean cast a 14 year old unknown for example and perhaps after another year or two Caspian will still have aged a little.

Look at Dan Radcliffe and the other supporting Harry Potter cast of teens. By the time the last book is released as a movie I'm sure they'll still be able to get away with looking 18. I'm thinking that Half Blood Prince will be out in 2008 and then perhaps the last book could be due for theatrical release by 2010. Radcliffe is about 15 now right? Though he'll be around 20 in 5 years time he can easily get away by looking 18. We'll just have to wait and see.

i actually think it fits perfectly. there is such conflict with the childrens age that i don't think it will matter much with the actors. Some say they are youger some say a little older. If they continue to make movies quickly it should be fine. Besides eustace is about lucy's age so he wont that old come silver chair.

Eustace would probably be a little younger than Lucy. But older than she was in LWW. About 10 in VDT.

I think Skandar and Georgie will play them. Now that LWW has been a complete success, PC will be filmed during this year and released during 2007. LWW has guaranteed the success for at least those two movies, just because the Pevensie's are there (though Peter and Susan are not in VDT) If that happens, the producers will immediately begin to work on VDT during the filming of PC, so they can film the next one without so much time between the two movies. That will be good for them, because Georgie and Skandar are clearly the ones who are growing so fast, but I don't see why there should be a problem about working with the same actors, at all.

Eustace is said to be a puny person that couldn't even stand up to Lucy. I doubt he is older than Lucy at the time of the adventures in VDT. The much questioned time-line puts his age at 10 or 11 and Lucy by now 11 to 12 during VDT. By the way, since Scubb and Pole are classmates we can guess they are the same age in SC. :)

They will use the same actors becaue with todays techonlogy you can make people look older or younger than they really are so all you fans that are worried you have nothing to worry about.
