Artwork for a Nursery

I'm in the process of decorating the nursery for our soon to be born baby. We decided to go with a Narnia theme and would like to hang prints of old 'Lion Witch and Wardrobe' book covers. Besides going out and buying the actual books, does anyone know of any site with these type of 'old illustrations' for sale or better yet know where I could find high res images of these book covers?

Hey, welcome to the site!! Doing a Narnia theme in your nursery is such a good idea!!! That will be adorable! I wish I knew where to direct you but I have no idea. I'm sure someone here will and they'll let ya know eventually. :)

What a wonderful idea! I'm sure there is a book out there "The Art of Narnia", just like there is a LOTR one?? I'm not sure. That really is a wonderful idea though! Good luck! You've come to the right place to find answers. Sorry I can't be much help. :confused:

go to www.google.com and search for Narnia art or something like that. I google everything. Also, www.art.com has some of the movie posters.

that's an amazing idea! I think i'll do that when I have kids. lol, in like 10 years. (wow actually that's sooner than i thought, geez when'd i get so old?!)

searching google images or a photography archive (i couldnt give a name off the top of my head) for the best quality images i would think... you have to show off pics when you get it finished though. i could just immagine a winter forest nursery with a lamp post and mr tumnus and all that great stuff... no matter how you do it it will looks so cool

Does anyone happen to know which of the LWW books has full color illustrations? I could possibly just go that route and use those as prints for the walls.

As far as our baby's gender, we actually decided to wait to find out.

Still trying to decide on names though... It's really between Tumnus and Aslan.
