I am most certainly born again, saved by the mercy, the grace, the love of God in and through Jesus Christ. :D
Yes, there are many who like to call themselves "Christians," but are they really true followers of Christ? "Ye shall know them by their fruits..." Do their actions speak as clearly as their claims? Hmm...

I rarely am asked if I am born-again any more. I can just call myself a Christian and that makes a big enough statement in the secular world.
The old denominations are dying out. Those who see beyond being Catholic and Protestant and see the spirit of Christ in their brothers know what it is to be born again and that you are saved in Christ. When you have been a Christian for a while you know who has Christ's spirit. Sheep know his master's voice.
Also Lewis knew Christians would understand Aslan for who he is.

Well, I can't say I've been SAVED since I was born, but I came close! lol,
I was saved when I was four years old, that's when I kind of got the subject matter if you get my point...but then I later thought that i probably didn't grasp it fully when I was four, so I re-dedicated my life to HIM when I was ten...
but yes, I've been born again, saved by the blood of Jesus, and I appreciate what you said about Mormons at the beginning. lol
I am a born-again, saved by grace Christian. I am pentecostal if i had to chose a denomination.
AMEN!!! To TimmyofOz's statement about knowing who really is "born-again".
I am a born again believer(pentecostal...any other pentecostal's?) and since I was very young. My dad was an evangelist since he was 15 and a half(he toured with his dad) and then started his own ministry on the road for 16 and a half years and then has been pastoring for 11 years(our 11th anniver. was 12/31/05..yeah). So I have been in church since I was little. But I truly understood at about 6. And then got filled with the Holy Ghost when I was 12.

I mean that I don't go to church that much, though it's not my fault (Dad won't get up to take our family and I don't live near anyone who goes to my church that could take me) or read the Bible or pray as much as I know I should-that's what I meant. >_< I'm not easily wavered by false beliefs and I'm pretty sure of everything in my faith. Sorry for not clearing that up.

Assemblies of God here.
Well, your very close. My beliefs are pentecostal(believing in prophecy, speaking in "unknown tongues", healing/miracles, and other ideas) which I know Assemblies of God believe in and practice in services---maybe not quite as much as they used too . My church is a non-denominational.

I completely agree with you here. Although I attend a Baptist church and consider myself a Baptist, I by no means am one of those people who think "only baptists can get saved." There is definitely more to being a Christian than just your denomination you choose to worship with.

I'm also a Christian, a Protestant. I suppose I've been "born again" for a very long time. I also don't believe it matters which denomination you belong to, being a born-again believer doesn't limit itself to a particular church, or even to just Christians. Anyone can be born-again through Jesus.

I became a Believer in Christ at age 5. I was not born a Christian, as no one can be unless you are Christ Himself, which would be heresey to say you were, so dont. But unless you were born of a virgin, you were born into sin, therefore you can not be a Christian, a Believer in Christ, Born Again or whatever you want to call it until, you understand your need for a Savior, that you are sinful, and you greatly need a Savior for nothing you do is good enough nor will give you righteousness before God, "For there are none who are righteous, No not even one!" ~Romans 3:10.

I know you are not trying to offend any Catholics...however, I just wanted to let you know that being a Catholic I should explain something...
The Catholic who told your friend that she was going to hell was 100% WRONG!!!
Our Church does not believe that if you are not Catholic you are going to hell. Everyone has a chance regardless of their faith...although some Christians would not agree with me...Catholics believe that even non-Christians can still enter the Kingdom of God.
I am sorry to hear about your friends misfortunate run in with a bad seed in the Church. We Catholics are NOT ALL like that and like I said...that is not in our Catholic Catechism (our rule book).
Take Care and God Bless!
p.s. If you are really upset with whoever told your friend they were going to hell...tell him to ask his Priest or Bishop if they think non-Catholics go to hell. He will set your friend straight!

There was actually a case of a Catholic priest named Msgr. Feeney who tried to teach that only practicing Catholics could be saved. Several times his order corrected him and demanded he recant, but when he consistently refused, he was defrocked and actually excommunicated.
Feeney's case is a complex one and still under dispute, but it hinges on his misinterpretation of the doctrine that "there is no salvation outside the Church." This was taught by the early Church Fathers and is still held to this day, but the meaning and interpretation of it has been carefully explored and expanded. The Church's official teaching on any man's salvation is that "Christ alone is judge". We proclaim what we have been told to proclaim, and warn where we have been told to warn, but no good Catholic will ever say to anyone: "you are going to hell."

I am a born again Christian, believing that Jesus died for my sins, and I accepted his gift, and turned my life over to him. My denomination is Methodist, my Dad's a pastor, so I've been around church pretty much all my life, but I got saved probably at age 5 or 6? But I have recommited, and I got baptized last year in a pond with really squishy mud on the bottom. :)

I see Aslan as Christ, and The Emperor-Over-the-Sea as God.

I declare that I am not of "Paul," and not of "Peter," (that is to say, I will not say that "I am Catholic" or "I am Protestant") but I am a born-again Christian, saved by the mercy, the grace, the love, the forgiveness of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, and therefore am part of the Body of Christ (the Church).
I am so blessed to be among so many brethren. Let us continue to "grow in the grace and in the knowledge" of our Lord Jesus Christ, studying His Word to "show ourselves approved" unto Him, workmen who "need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth."

I am a Christian too. And I admit that when I was having a crisis of faith as a young man, The LWW pulled me out of it. Since then I've been a believer, but I was feeling terribly discouraged lately because I've had a series of hard knocks and wondered when, or if, God would let me feel his love and presence to lift me out. Then, worried that Disney was releasing it, I still went to see LWW when it came out. And when I did, all that burden was lifted from me and bit by bit I've put everything in my life back to rights.
My presence here is not only a form of personal enjoyment but in some ways a repaying of a debt. If I can help you experience LWW more fully or otherwise make your presence here more enjoyable, let me know.

Well I'm not quite sure about this one, and u don't have to take my advice because I am only 11. But I believe if someone is born again they have to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. How do u have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? You have to pray a prayer that says you are sorry for your sins and that you believe that Jesus Christ lived a perfect life and died on the cross just for you and that he rose again. Well that's is my belief. So if you can, try to keep in touch. Lol so sorry about my grammer it is my worst subject.

I don't think Ben meant "conquered the world" in the sense you're thinking. I think he means that Catholicism was the most widespread form of Christianity until the 16th century (when the Protestant Reformation happened). Thus the term "conquered the world," as Roman Catholicsm became the main form of Christianity for most of the world's nations. :)
Anyway, I'm a Baptist Christian, but I'm not really devoted to my faith. Also, I'm trying to decide if I should become non-denominational, since I don't agree with my denomination's teachings on Baptism.

I'm a Roman Catholic Christian. And yes, born again. Catholics believe we are born again (as the Bible says we must be) in Baptism.
"Truly, truly I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." John 3:5
"Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 3:38
Anyways, just thought I'd give a little Biblical backing there... ;) Please PM me with questions about Catholics!

YES! I believe in Jesus as Savior and LORD, Son of The MOST HIGH! God and that HE died on the cross to take the place of you and I so that we might have a relationship with God and have our sins washed away. Amen!
I am a born-again Christian. (and proud!)
