View Full Version : The C.S. Lewis DVD On The 4-Disc Edition of LWW...

I'm not sure if this is in the right spot, but anyone else truly enjoy the DVD dedicated to C.S. Lewis on teh four disc edition of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. It was so fascinating and I especially loved the part where they showed the Lion every now and then to represent Aslan. I know that C.S. Lewis isn't alive anymore but who did the narration for the movie? Anyone know? You would be very convinced that it was C.S. Lewis himself but I am sure it isn't because he died before way before the 2005 release came out.

So is this video different than the one that was screened at Lion Con? That retrospective of C.S. Lewis' work and life was so beautifully done...

The one screened at LionCon was the one in the 4 disc Extended Edition. It's called C.S. Lewis, Dreamer of Narnia and it was produced by David Melvin, who was wonderful as a speaker at LionCon.

In my opinion, it was what made that 4 disc set worth the high cost of it all. I loved that DVD! It was beyond well done!

Never seen it on 4 disc . Going to see it. If I like it I may buy it (not that I have any doubt I won't like it) .:D

After I saw it for the first time, I sat and wrote and wrote and wrote...it inspired me. I loved it! David described at LionCon other ways they wanted to do things at first, but I'm so glad it turned out the way it did! It couldn't have been done better. Truly. It is an amazing DVD.

You did? I'm sorry about that bro! We had the producer there to talk about it and a fiasco in getting it to play before he got there. We ended up having to change rooms because one of the projectors didn't work and we got it started late. It was quite the fiasco. If you get a chance to see that DVD, it is awesome and wonderful! I loved it!

yeah. Theres a 1 disc 2 disc and 4 disc one.

I have the 2 disc.;)
