Apologies and Chocolate Bars

This will be an odd thread, mainly because for me, it's odd for me to write it in the first place.

I will start by saying I will not apologize for my beliefs, but rather for my actions as of late. The truth is, is that I've been extremely and uttering bored as of late. I know, not seemingly profound is it?

I will not lie, it's not easy for me to apologize or admit my behavior was wrong. I'm just too proud of a person I suppose.

So, then your are probably wondering, what's with the 'Chocolate Bars' in the title? Easy to explain. They are Mello's favorite thing, and I'm willing to give some to everyone to show just how sorry I am.

Acting out when you're very bored or very angry can have unintended consequences. I lost my family when someone ran a red light and swept them away. I can abide with being insulted, even slapped. Not when my dead wife and child are called evil or selfish.

The arguements that sound so faddish or cool between two teens can stab someone in one of the few tender spots he has not protected with armour. My five year old son is one of those spots.

I'm sure you did not intend to kick a grieving father and husband. But that's what you did. And that's why in saying I forgive you I also remind you next time to think twice and speak once.

I feel humbled by this thread. I am literally in tears because I know how difficult it was for you to do this.
Although you did not offend me at anytime, I will gladly accept the chocolates;). In fact, I'm going to eat now a piece of Dark Chocolate (my favorite) and think about you while I'm doing this. And I know that maybe you don't wish it, I am still going to say a prayer for your well being and for your precious daughter's well being also.

At least you're not planning on acting as if nothing has happened and say it's all cool, so this is good. Tis a good start. I kind of figured from the start that it may not have been exactly your passion fo spreading the same word over and over to the same people that may strive you to do so.

I may not have been offended by your remarks but I will gladly accept the chocolate. In return, I would like to beg pardon for any who have been turned off by my (cranky) mood of late. I have been really stressed out and have not been on my best behavior either. I don't know that many realized it but I have been particularly combative and in being so kind of helped the Abortion thread to get out of hand. The midterms and Break housing are about to clear their way out of my life and I should be able to get back to being myself (which will probably mean you all will see less of me in the Socratic Club and more of me in Dufferland).
