Ok, they're not many thread in this area, and I wanted to know who's your favourite thread in SC.

Mine is Jill, probably because I can relate to her. Then I'd say Puddleglum, he makes me laugh with his way to introduce himself :p:p

and you ??

I'd say it's Puddlegum, because for me he's the hero of the book. Besides his funny comments, the scene when he's the only one to resist the Green Lady's enchantment, defying her despite getting burned by it, is one of those that have hitted me strongest among the Chronicles. Maybe because it has much related to where I am right now, but this last re-read got me closer to SC and all of its characters.

Jill. She is, IMO, Lewis' replacement character for Lucy. She was the one who had the intimate encounter with Aslan in the beginning.

She was also the main character in virtually every scene (except for the backstory about Rillian--which she was listeneing to-- and the scene where she disappeared up the hole showing the reaction from below--although she was very much a part of that scene still).

I would have to say Puddlegum. The children would not have made it without his help. I love what says to the Queen of Underland: "I'm on Aslan's side even if there isn't any Aslan to lead it. I'm going to live as like a Narnian as I can even if there isn't any Narnia."
But I also like the two children. One can see the wonderful change in Eustace's behavior. He's so nice in the Silver Chair. And then, Jill is a nice young lady, she's doing very well for her first time in Narnia.
Just one more thing. I cannot let out dear Aslan. He's the most wonderful thing about all Narnia books. But I LOVE what He did at the end of the Silver Chair. I just had to mention that. :)

I love Puddleglum too, he's one of the principal characters, he's helping, even though he's always saying things are going to turn bad :p:p Aslan is always great, the two children make a great team :O and Rillian, well we only see him at the end of the book :(, but he's nice, I didn't like him when he was the black knight

I totally agree with you queenaravis :) He's a dear, even though he's kinda pessimistic. But I think that is exactly what makes him special :P

I'd have to say Jill. In fact, she's probably my favorite character in the entire Chronicle.

She seeme's like what I would act like if I went into Narnia.

And she shines in "The Last Battle"!

Hm...either Jill or Puddleglum. =]

Jill's awesome! Even if she forgets some of the signs and its a bit stubborn...but Puddleglum is just awesome in faithful aspect of Aslan and to Narnia.

Aside from Puddleglum, I like Trumpkin and Caspian best. Their parts are small, but so wonderful. Trumpkin's deafness was endearing, and I admire Caspian for having the courage to question Aslan. He had wanted to see England ever since he learned that it was on a round planet, and he wasn't afraid to ask Aslan to do something special so he could finally get there.

I added a poll, so you can vote for Jill Pole.

I voted for PuddleGlum because he makes me laugh, and he's a hero, too. That's just like my husband, come to think of it! :)

PuddleGlum! And Trumpkin! "Useless? I dare say he is. Is that any reason for bringing him to court? Hey?"

that's true, Trumpkin is not that important in TSC ...
Yeah Puddleglum is great !!!! But I liked best Jill, because I could relate to her :D

Trumpkin wasn't important to the story, but in his cameo appearances he was hilarious. I didn't like Jill as much as everyone else does ... she bugged me with her showing off and getting Eustace blown over the edge of the cliff, and then forgetting the signs ... I dunno...

My favorite was Puddleglum.^_^ I found him quite funny. And I loved that part where he stuck his foot in the fire and gave his little speech about Aslan and Narnia. It's my favorite Narnia quote ever!:D

but she changed in the end, like Eustrace and Edmund, you can't stand them at the begining, and then, when they enter Narnia, they change !! I think it's a great thing !!!
