I would like to know why they are only making 5 films instead of 7? that is almost like taking out TTT from LOTR. Or Reloaded from the Matrix... So why not have all 7 books become films because there isn't enough action in a few of the books?

They are going to film all 7 books.. It's just that there are 2 books that will be combined with other books. Prince Caspian will be combined with Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and 2 others will be combined. It's also because the books are so short that this is possible.

They aren't merging "Prince Caspian" and "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader"
There was talk at one stage about making them back to back so the children don't grow up, but I don't know if they will.

But Specter, Voyage is one of the longest books, not the shortest.

in BBC, they did the PC and Voyage back to back, so i guessed, Adamson will do the same thing.

They aren't merging "Prince Caspian" and "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" they will be released as separate films.

What were the reasons?
All I know is that Andrew intends to film them all if the money lasts.

Really!!???? :(
How do you know this. I would like to see all the books due as a movie each. Lewis wrote seven books, not five...... ao there should be seven movies. Anything elase would be a betrual to C.S.Lewis

I have read all the books i can find, and all the interviews. Also, i have watched Everything on the DVD. That's the best way to find stuff out.

It all depends on how well each film does at the Cinema.
Where did you hear that?

I can't see the point of this. If they are going to speend millions making a movie, shorley they would want to make as much of it as possiblle, and the only way to do that would be by having then in cinamras.

If you think about it, it costs more to buy a DVD than to go to the cinema, and it costs the film company more overall to put the film in the cinema than straight to DVD, so if people aren't as likely to buy it after seeing it at the cinema, they may see it as more benificial to put it straight to DVD, and they may make more money doing it.
