WILLIAM MOSELEY/PETER! Because he is the oldest one of the two and the hotter one ( i know thats argueable for some people but its my opinion). He's funny, outgoing, tall, and perfect. Yep... I could go on but I'm pretty tired ^_^;;

Am I the only male so far in this topic - oh well! Are you talking about the film or the book? Either way I would say Peter or William as I found his character more amiable and I think I can identify with him more being almost the same age and big brother myself. With regards to William, to whom I think most of you are referring, in all honesty I do think that he is incredibly good-looking, a brilliant actor and I do like the way he speaks - it's nice to have a non-laboured, well-spoken English in today's generation!

Between Edmund and Peter... that is tough =P Personally I'm more like Peter and we would probably get along... But Edmund seems likes the type (especially later in the series) that I would probably enjoy being around, he becomes so sweet xD So I'll go with Edmund.... this is thought-provoking. I am an only child and always wondered what itwould be like to have other siblings. Large families still fascinate me. I would have to say it would be a tough chioce. William/Peter would be very stable, probably more quiet oftentimes, and helpful, I think. But Skandar/Edmund would be fun to hang out with, although probably much louder and somewhat annoying at times. I guess both would have good quatlties and not so good. The cool thing though, is if it were Skandar, every time he did something wrong I could yell "Skan-DAR!!!" like they did on the movie set whenever he did something wrong. That would be fun!

Since I'm a 46 year old man, we're talking about younger brothers. And whether it was Peter in the Real Narnia or a choice of the actors that played them in the movie, the answer is clear. Edmund (Skandar). Because I'd want my bratty little brother to hang around a bit longer before running off to the altar and selling widget stock in London. Family, as you know, is very important to me. I had two older sisters but never a brother.

When thinking about the real Peter or Edmund in the real Narnia, I would love either one dearly but not invite the heartache of knowing how and when they died. In that sense I'd fare better with the actors than with the Pevensies.

I've always longed for a big brother like Peter. I mean, he looks after the rest of his siblings, especially Lucy, whom he protects. He's brave but can also admit it when he's scared or unsure, for example like when he's talking with Aslan and he says 'I'm not who you think I am,'.

EDIT: I also don't have any brothers in my family. I have wanted a big brother all my life and if I could choose I would definitely choose Peter (though there'd be no resemblances between us, I look nothing like him and he looks nothing like me. Maybe because he's a boy and I'm a girl? I don't know lol)

Interesting thought. I am the oldest of two, and I am the oldest of all my cousins (who are a bit like brothers and sisters to me) so I most likely would get along better with Peter. However, I did like Ed later in the series...I guess it would depend if you meant during the time period of LWW or the whole series...

Well... difficult choice actually... I'm a grown man, and having a younger sister, I would like to have a younger brother, if that was possible.

Peter won't be my choice. Not because I don't like him.. But he is as protective as I am. We are certainly too similar.

I have to honestly say I would choose Edmund if I had to pick someone to identify with. I'm an only child, but I always sympathized with my friends' brothers and or sisters who got picked on by their older siblings, or were just left out somehow. While I didn't condone what Edmund did in the story, I also understand exactly why he did it. ( the whole betrayal thing). Peter was brave and resilient but he just seemed too good to be true, almost like, out of reach you know?

I would say 'Peter' in a heartbeat. He is portrayed the ultimate brother! He genuinely cares for his other siblings and wants the very best for them. Although he gets mad at Edmund, he is willing to say he's sorry, which is an admirable trait. What's also very endearing is his willingness to play games with his younger siblings even though he doesn't really feel like it (in the movie, at least).
