Yay! That's really good to hear. I would not like it if a new composer took over for each new movie (like in the Harry Potter Series).
Harry Gregson-Williams' stuff is really good and by now, it's what's supposed to be used in the movies.

I really hope he comes up with some new themes this time, if he is doing VDT. This is an entirely different setting from the previous two movies, and doesn't require much, if any, battle music. VDT takes place mostly at seas, so mariner-related themes should be done, plus the individual character themes, like Edmund and Lucy's and Reepicheep's.

Reepicheep's? That would be nice! ;) Specially if he also gets more screen time!

That's wonderful. He does such a great job with music. I own other tracks that he did besides in Narnia as well. I wish this movie was coming out this year though. :(

He is scoring again????????!!!!!!
WOOT! Awesome!! I loved both of his scorings, and was as much worried for the change of the music as for the director change.

Yay, I'm so excited. His music totally MADE those movies for me. (I am always more obsessed with the score than almost any other part of a fantasy movie, LOL. For example, the LOTR movies were so different from my beloved books that if it weren't for their amazing scores I may not have liked them!)

This will be interesting. He did a great job with LWW and PC and if you look at what he has done with other films and stuff he is well able to adapt to different settings. I liked it that he re-used some of the themes of LWW in PC, although others complained that he didn't invent anything new. He did, though.
My son says, he uses some lines of his Call-of-Duty-4 score for the battle music. I'll want to check this, it gives me something to ponder at the way a battle is depicted nowadays.

I don't think he is doing the scoring for VDT. I know some reports said he was going to...but I don't think so. He wasn't when I talked to him. If things changed since then, yea...but I thought David Arnold was going to do the score. I want Harry, but I thought that wasnt' a possibility at this point.
