In an announcement for the composer of Bond 22, the James Bond fan site MI6 has revealed that film composer David Arnold will be composing the score for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

I hope that there will be some continuity between HGW's work on the first 2 films and DA's work on VDT. I've never heard his work, but I'll be optimistic.

Yeah, i would love to hear a variation of the same theme in every movie, like with LotR. I loved on the Narnia Soundtrack that every place had a different music, but always the same theme if you get what i mean, there were always things that were repeated, and i hope they will have the same theme in all movies, like a 'brigde' over all of them!!

Other than that: i don't know his work, but most score writers are very good, so i don't fear a new one!:D

i think it should be danny elfman. he's THE BEOMB! best music composer ever, hans zimmer's really great too.

i loved the music from amazing grace, but I don't know how well his composing will be for a narnia film. Harry Gregson did an absolute phenomenal job, i just hope this guy has spark, if i'm explaining myself.

I merged the threads on this topic since 2 aren't needed really.

At some point I'll go on and see what DA's music sounds like. Don't have time at the moment, but there are samples available from what I've heard...I'll need to check again as to where.
