It's been about 10 years since I've seen it.

Does anyone have any screenshots of the Green Lady?

I never liked the BBC version or the earlier Animated version of LWW. But the BBC version did a better job in VTD and SC. Mainly becuace I like the Scrubb and Jill. I really hope the movies make it to The Silver Chair. Pole and Scrubb are such fun characters and Puddleglum is such a jolly person in his own way. i wonder who would do a good job as the actor for Puddleglum. If he is a CG character Ben Stein has the touch as a voice. But he is too old and small to act the character. :)

In the book SC, Puddleglum has legs like a stork, long arms too. Hands and feet are webbed. But his body and head are as small as a dwarfs in comparision to his limbs. In the BCC version they just had a tall guy with webbed hands and greenish brown skin. It would be hard to do him in the movie. They could do him like Mr. Tumnus and CG his lower half. But all the proportions are still wrong. Using a tall guy won't work. If they CG the whole thing it would be like the Star Wars' frog guy and that was such a losier. CG characters are terrible as a humaniod type creature. Animals works as CG because our minds fill in the flaws, but not for humans. CG humans look fake and animated. Puddleglum is such a wired creature, yet he is a main character and very human.

I saw the BBC Silver Chair back in.. 3rd or 4th grade I beleive. I loved it, I have got to go get the boxset I saw at Wal-Mart that has all of the original BBC movies and watch it again... Though I'll probably be dissapointed in it now (things I thought were big news then aren't quite as impressive now xD). I thought it was very interesting, well done and had an intriguing plot. VERY good acting... Though it was a bit lengthly if I am remembering correctly.

The visuals in the BBC are aweful I remember that from when I was little I also remember making fun of and being upset about ASLANS "roar" if it can be called that however when it comes to accuracy BBC were much much much much better, I dont know how they will do puddleglum, I hope they spend a lot of time on him!! My brother-in-law would be like the perfect shape for him, tall and skinny with long arms and legs, but I dont think his face is all that small....oh dear

I just watched this the other day. For the time it was really good! Especially the part w/ the giants. I remember watching them as a kid too. Although I didn't like Jill in this one. Puddleglum was perfect (not the makeup but the characterization). Haha! He was the scarf doctor in Doctor Who too! Anyway, I thought they should have suck closer to the book w/ Rillian. They really blew that. That's my review anyway.

Ariel, trust me, you won't be, i have read the silver chair three times and watched the BBC movie twice, if you love it once, you'll love it again. the humor in it makes up for the bad CGI (well all accept for puddleglum, he looks all wrong!) :p
