MOD EDIT: I have moved most of the first Shipwreck RPG to the archives, yet I tried to keep enough of the thread so that a new member would be able to read from the beginning of the thread and know what is going on. However, I moved the profiles to the archive. It might be a good idea for the creater of the thread to copy-paste the profiles from the first thread to this one. Have fun RPGing (but keep the occ to a minimum.)

I've noticed there's a lot of RPs about High School and "real life" and then there are fantasy ones, but there is no "out of the ordinary" realistic ones. So that's what I'd like to start. This RP starts out on a nice three-hour cruise of the Pacific ocean off of California, but you're characters can come from all over. They were supposed to be going whale watching, but there was a storm and the people on the ship were washed ashore a tiny island in the middle of nowhere. The captain sadly drownded and so now the tourists must fend for themselves. Out of the ordinary may happen and everyone must ban together to make a team and survive. I hope this turns out to be fun, so lets start. Please, make your characters at least 15 or older.

Intrests/Personality/Bio: Kel has always been intrugeued by wildlife and the ocean. She knows alot about the weather and has great leadership and survival skills. SHe's very good and bringing a group of people together and is just a small girl looking to do something big. SHe's very sweet and kind and loves almost anyone. She's accepting, but does have a temper. She's a singer and a dancer too. She loves reading and goes no where without a book. She is very smart and clever and good with her hands.

ooc-you can be on the beach away from the jet. right now it's too crowded. you can be someone who was by themselves during the whale cruise, and ended up on the other side of the island after the crash. there are natives in the jungle that will give you something to do.;):D or you don't have to, it's up to you.

"Ok, I'm going to stay with Kel while you make the fire. Let me know when it's going. Do you know how to do it without-oh wait!" She ran inside and was back in a minute with a lighter. "Here," she said, handing it to him. "Be careful with this though. It's our only one. Bring it back once you're done." She smiled at him. "And let me know if you need help. I would help right now, but Kel isn't well. She needs clean water to drink."

She just kept shouting. "Don't let them." she looked frantically at Ana. "Why aren't you saving them!" she shouted. "They're dying...they're being killed...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" she screamed pinching her eyes shut and then she was silent. In a few minutes, she sat back up, rubbing her head. "Ow...my head hurts..." she said calmly to herself. She looked at Ana's frightened look. "What's wrong?"

She cocked her head. "Well, I thought I was asleep...I might sleepwalk...but not that I remember..." she seemed to try and remember. "No...I don't beleive I did anything..." she looked at Ana, puzzled.

Kel sighed. "I'm sorry if I frightened you...I'm not used to being around people...especially live ones who don't want your blood."

"What happened to you?" she asked, eyes wide.

"We got shipwrecked. I tried to organize it, tried to survive, but no one would listen. Pretty soon, no one came back. I went to find them, and I was captured, and put where the others were. They...tortured them...and then..." she gulped. "They...slowly cut them up and..." she clutched her stomach. "And ate them one piece at a time. This one girl was pregnant, and they cut her open...and...and ate her baby first. I was one of the only ones who survived...I watched each one die, heard each one scream in agony as they slowly cut them up from their toes to their heads..." and then Kel vomited.

"Sean!" screamed Ana, her voice shaking. She had tears in her eyes. "Don't worry, you're safe now," her voice quavered.

Opal felt her ribcage. She was hungry, and just sat on a boulder skipping rocks.

Kel clutched her side with one hand and covered half her face with the other. She rocked herself back and forth. "I survived..." she started shaking uncontrollably. "I survived because they went first." All of her body shook, she couldn't control herself. The shaking started to get worse. "I was the only one who walked awa-a-a-a-" she couldn't finish through her chattering teeth. Her heart was beating too fast and her body was practically vibrating. Her pupils were dilated and her skin was becoming sweaty and clammy.

"Surviver's Guilt," thought Ana. "It's all right Kel." "Where's SEAN?!?" she wondered.

Opal darted into the water as the snakes spat venom at her. She was drowning but the snakes slithered away.

"No, it's not alright. I may have survived in the flesh, but inside, I died." She looked at her shaking feet. Her pupils were still dialated and she was still sweating a lot and her skin looked clammy, but she had stopped shaking so violently.

ic: It took awhile for dean to get a good fire going, but when he was finished, he stepped back and looked at his work. "Might as see what else there is to do", he said opening the door of the jet. "Hey sorry it took a while to make a good fire", he said looking at Ana.

ic-"Yes," said Ana, could you watch Kel while I get the water ready for drinking please?"

"Yea sure thing", he said as he stepped in and closed the jet door.

Ana walked outside and tended to the fire, quickly and efficiently, she used her knowledge from girl scouts, tv, and books (she KNEW they would come in handy one day) to create a water filter, and began boiling. When things were going well, she poked her head inside the jet. "Um, Sean?" she asked. "I need your help for a minute, that is, unless Kel still needs you." She looked at the girl. "Try to rest, and we will be back as soon as we can, with fresh water. Warm, but clean and healthy."

"Ok I'm coming", he said as he followed her outside. "What do you need help with?", he asked her.

Ana shut the door behind her. She then took Sean's arm and brought him to the tree line. "Listen," she said quietly, "I just wanted to let you know what happened to everyone else." She took a deep breath, then looked Sean straight in the eyes. "Sean," she said sadly, "Everyone else from your trip that was shipwrecked with you...is dead." Ana looked down at her trembling hands. "Kel told me." Her voice was trembling now too, and came out in a whisper as she looked back up at Sean, pure fear in her eyes. "There are cannibals on this island, and they..." She broke off, not able to say it, winced, and buried her face in her hands. She looked back up at Sean. "I'm frightened Sean. Truly and deeply frightened. Kel has nightmares about them. She screams horribly and talks in her sleep. I'm completely afraid for my life for the first time on this island. Before, when we were wandering through the jungle, I thought we would be fine, but now..." She hugged herself as her lip trembled and she looked out to sea.

Sean hung his head, knowing that Kel and Ana needed him now more than ever. "Well........this is out of my leauge, but I'll deal with them", he said with a stern voice.

[Crunchine]

Ana wiped her tears. "Don't do anything rash Sean," she said, looking at him fearfully. "We still need you here. Kel and I both."

[Josh the Jester]

"There might be a possibility that I'll have to make some risky desicions, but for now we have to keep an eye out", he replied. "Good thing my grandfather taught me how to make javelins out of spare wood", he said to himself. "I need to find a few good sticks I'll be back", he said heading towards the forest.

[Crunchine]

"Sean, wait!" Ana called, running after him.

[Josh the Jester]

"Yes?", he turned around with a relaxed expression on his face.

[Crunchine]

Eyes wide, Ana shook her head back and forth quickly. "Please don't leave just yet. We have to make sure Kel is safe, so someone has to go back and watch her while the other gets the water ready. I'll look for fire wood and bring the sticks to you. You can sit in the jet doorway and look at them for whatever you need."

[Josh the Jester]

"Ok, but don't go far into the forest", he said with a nod, and then went back to the fire and threw in some twigs.

[Crunchine]

Ana quickly gathered more wood, keeping her eyes and ears open. Soon she had enough and brought them back to Sean, told him to give the ones he didn't want to her, and went back to filtering.

Sean found ten good ones, and placed the left over ones to the side for Ana. He than took out his pocket knife and began forming good, sharp tipped javelins.

"What are you making?" Ana asked, watching him as she poured more filtered water into the bucket.

[Josh the Jester]

"There's two down eight more to go", he said to himself. "I'm making javelins; my grandfather showed my how to make one and how to properly throw one too," he told her.

[Crunchine]

"That's cool," she said. "And it will help us feel safer. Well, I don't know about Kel," she added before standing up. "I have enough water filtered to last us hopefully the rest of the day. I will go to the water and hold the jugs there for a bit so the water isn't so hot before filling a bottle for Kel."

"Ok I'll just stay out here and tend the fire, and finish these javelins", he said to her.

Ana brought the containers to the water, and held on to them as the waves hit them.

Soon Sean was finished, and layed the Javelin down at his side close to him. He began feeding the fire, with the spare wood.

Kel stood up, shakily and walked around. Her legs felt weak as she walked around the plane. She had a sense that she'd been out for a few days...she sat back down, she hated this sickness.

Ana looked at her watch. "It's about 9 now, so we should eat the rest of our fruit, we can look for more in the morning, and then Kel and I can start the watch while Sean sleeps."

Ana waited for Kel, then sat on top of the airplane.

Josh woke up, and quickly shot up. "Just a bad dream," he said nodding his head then layed back down to go to sleep, but couldn't.

Ana gazed up at the stars, keeping her ears peeled for any strange noises.

"Oh forget it; I guess this will be one of those nights where I don't get much sleep", he said as he sat up and rubbed his eyes.

Ana looked over at Kat, who had fallen asleep, and rubbed her eyes.

Sean opened the hatch and stepped outside taking a deep breath.

Ana saw him. "Hey Sean!" she whispered. "Help me bring Kat back inside, then you and I can take watch."

"Here I got her", he whispered as he picked her up, and carried her inside. He then came back out and sat next to Ana.

"Did you sleep well?" she asked.

"I'm just hoping those natives don't attack us again," she said nervously.

"Don't worry we have God on our side", he said with a smile.

"I thought I saw a shooting star a while ago," Ana remarked.

"Yea I've seen a few myself", he said still gazing up at the stars.

"Maybe once it gets light out we can look in the cabin for maps. The stars might be able to let us know where we are."

"That's true smart thinking", he said smiling at her through the darkness.

"Thanks," she smiled back.

Sean suddenly heard a ruslte in the shrub, which was a ways off. "I think we're being watched", he said jumping down from his seat.

Ana grew tense and her eyes widened.

Sean grabbed one of his javelins, ready to throw it. A few moments later there was silence, nothing but silence. "Whoever it was they're", he said still looking at the shrub.

"I don't like this," whispered Ana, still very frightened.

Sean went inside to grab a flashlight, and came back out. "I'll be back", he said heading towards the shrub.

"I'm coming with you. There's no way we're splitting up. The plane is locked. I'll just tell Kat where we're going. Wait for me."

"Ok, but hurry", he said as he stopped and waited for her.

Ana quietly jumped down from the plane, unlocked the plane, and told their plan to Kat. Then she met up with Sean.

With a flashlight in one hand and a javelin in the other, Sean led the way. "Be careful, and keep an eye out", he told her.

Keeping quiet, Ana nodded as her heart pounded.

"Well how else......" he began, but was cut short by a sharp pain in his neck. A dart! He suddenly felt dizzy, and then collapsed, blacking out.

Ana screamed and leapt toward Sean, but soon a pain hit her neck as well, followed by dizziness, and the last thing she saw by the light of the moon were angry, red painted faces bending over her and poking her.

Sean woke up with a numd and weak feeling all over his body; he also felt lightheaded. He discovered, that tied to a pole, bound at his wrist by a rope tied tight. Looking over he saw Ana tied in the same fashion, unconcious. "Ana.....Ana wake up!", he said in a loud whisper.

The first thing Ana felt was nausea, then a throbbing in her head and something running down her face. Slowly opening her eyes, she looked down and saw blood dripping down from her face. She looked up and saw Sean.

[Josh the Jester]

"Man you don't look good", he said with a concerned look. He lloked around, and saw they were at some sorta camp, with a huge bonfire in the middle, and with the natives standing around it.

[Crunchine]

"I don't feel too good either," she moaned. "Where are we? And I think I cut my head on something when I fell."

"Uh I think were at their camp", he said looking at the natives. "I think it's best if we sit tight for a sec", he said glancing back at her.

Ana nodded and tried to ignore the pain.

A moment later two of the natives came over and found Ana and Sean awake. They then held a small conversation with each other in a language Sean clearly couldn't understand. What are they saying he thought to himself.

Ana tried to remain calm as the natives motioned to her and Sean and poked her with a stick.

"Stop that! Leave her alone!", Sean lashed out, surprising the two native. Suddenly one delivered a savage punch blow across Sean's face making him bleed from the corner of his mouth.

[Crunchine]

"Stop it!" Ana cried, in turn recieving a slap and another jab with a stick. The natives talked with one another, and then one went over to Ana and untied her. A larger one came over, grabbed her arms, and she began kicking and screaming as they led her away from Sean. "Don't you touch me! Leave us alone!" she yelled.

[Josh the Jester]

"Leave her alone! Stop or your all dead!", he said lashing out. The same native gave him two more savage blows across the face, making his nose bleed now. Sean glared at him, and then spit some blod at his face, which ade the native even more angry, making him hitting Sean even more.

Ana was thrown in front of an older woman with a headdress. She examined her and then began speaking with some women behind her.
She then turned back to Ana, banged her staff on the ground, and Ana was dragged away to anothet hut, where some other native women gave her water to bathe in and clothes like theirs. They also put some stinging green medicine of some sort on her cut and wove her hair tightly to her head. Ana was then brought before the older woman again, who she had now determined was the chief. The chief grunted, and once again Ana was pulled away and set to another fierce looking woman who put Ana to work cleaning clothes at the river with the burly guard watching.

Once the native was done pummeling Sean, he went back to the other and began talking with them. Sean had a feeling that they were talking about him.

Ana continued washing the clothes, wondering what was going to happen to Sean, and wishing she could do something about it.

Soon a couple natives came over and untied him. then led him over to the chief,who then looked him over and grunted twice pointing to a small hut. Three of the five led him into the hut, where they made him, put on a sackcloth. they then led down a path away from the camp, which led to a huge pile of coal. At the base of the pile was a yoke with two buckets at each end filled with coal. On e of the two native pushed Sean foward motioning him to pick up the yoke a carry it. Sean had no choice but to listen; so he picked it up hauling on his shoulders, and headed back towards the camp with the heavy wait of the yoke on his shoulders.

Ana finished washing the clothes and was lead back to the hut where she was brought to a large fire pit, and gathered that she was supposed to tend it. She almost fell in a few times at first, causing her to get covered in black, but once she got the hang of it, she ignored the heat and kept the fire going.

Sean went back and forth from the camp to the pile of coal, and then back to the camp lugging coal from the pile to the camp. Two burly guards with spaers folowed him back and forth to make sure he wouldn't run off.

It grew dark once again, and a large wild boar was brought to be roasted on the fire. People started crowding around Ana, and she was pushed too close to the fire more than once.

After a while, Sean was slowing down; caus ethe muscles in his legs were aching. One of the two guards smacked him across the back with the spear making him fall dropping the yoke. Sean winced in pain a slowly got up, heated by anger and rage, he rushed of of the guards, who knocked him flat with the butt of his spear. Gasping for breath Sean sat up glaring at him. Picking up the yoke, he staggered to his feet trudging slowly towards the camp.

Ana saw Sean come back from the jungle, and tried to get him to see her without bringing any attention to herself.

Once Sean dropped off the load, he dropped the yoke, and looked around to find Ana and then he saw her, and gave her a weak smile.

She in turn smiled and went back to tending the fire.

One on the guard tapped Sean's leg and pointed to the yoke. "I know", he said, as he picked up the yoke, and headed back to the pile of coal.

Ana sighed sadly as she watched Sean walk away. If only they could escape...

Sean knew he had to come up with a plan, for them to escape, or at least for Ana to escape. As he filled the two buckets, he began to strategize an escape plan.

Once the boar was finished, Ana was made to bring the food to everyone.

A plan slowly formed in Sean's head as he went back and forth; from the camp to the pile of coal. "Ah there we are", he said with a weak smile.

Ana tried bringing food over to Sean but was roughly pulled away by her guard.

Sean flared at the sight, but kept his composer. "I just have to wait for the rgith time", he said picking up his yoke.

Ana was forced back to the fire and continued to tend it.

Sean suddenly had his chance once he was filling up the yoke. The two guard wre aparently talking amonst each other; so Sean grabbing a a nice sized stone stirking both on the head, knocking them out. He then snuck back to the camp and waited in the shadows for a chance to free Ana.

As the supper slowly ended Ana was forced to gather the bones from the scraps. She took every chance she got to look around for Sean, hoping he was alright.

Soon everyone except Ana's large guard were asleep.

Finally his chance came; he went around to where the guard back was facing him, picked a lagre stone, and chucked it as hard as he could at the guard knocking him unconcious. Sean then rushed in, motoning Ana to stay quiet while he cut her bonds withthe guard's knife.

"No prob; just try to be quiet and quick", he said grabbing her hand and quietly leading them out of the camp in the direction of the beach.

Once they wre away from the camp, Sean sped up a bit, still trying to keep quiet,still holding Ana's and as he pulled her along. "Hopefully we could get to the beach before they wake up", he said in a more louder whisper.

Ana nodded, eyes wide, and continued running.

They soon reached the beach, and Sean spotted, in the darkness, the plane, which was a half a mile away. "C'mon let's hurry now', he said as he pulled her along running towards the wrecked plane.

"Good point," Ana yawned. "I don't know about you, but I'm not going out there again."

Ana looked at him and jerked her arm out of his grip. "Because for one, it's dark out, and two, once the natives realize we are gone, don't you think they might come looking for us?"

Ana went through her suitcases and found a change of clothing and got ready for bed.

Sean was awakened by sunlight hitting his face. He sat up and stretched, looking over, to see Ana fast asleep. "At least we had a peaceful night of sleep', he said to himself quietly. He got up, and looked out the window;"no sign of any nativbes', he said..

Ana continued to sleep peacefully.

Sean shot a glance at Ana, and saw that she was still fast asleep. He then went outside to get any better confirmation. Grabbing a javelin, he went a few yards away from the plane to notice any unusual sounds. Nothin.......yet.

Ana woke up slowly and stretched.

Sean walked ahead a few more yards, watching and listening.

Ana got up and looked around for Sean.

Sean turned around to head back, an arrow flew at his feet burrying itself in the sand, and soon a rain of arrows came at him. Sean ran in the opposite direction of the plane, already aware of the natives plans Divide and Conquer!

When Ana didn't see Sean, she panicked. "Please don't tell me he left," she thought frantically. "Sean!" she called out. "This isn't funny! Where are you?"

Josh soon was a half a quater of a mile away, when the arrows stopped. "What now?", he asked himself. Suddenly five natives came running out fron the forest, and began chasing him. "Shoot!', he cried, as he began running from them, going farther away from the plane, and Ana.

Ana began looking out of the jet's windows, afraid to go out of the jet and risk getting caught by any natives that might be looking for her and Sean.

Sean was getting tired from the run, but the natives abviously weren't. "C'mon Sean think of something ", he thought aloud, as he ran as fast as his legs would carry him.

Ana saw Sean break through the forest, and ran over to the door, ready to open it and lock it again.

Sean kept running, but soon tripped, landing with his face in the sand. He quickly truned around to find three spearheads in his face.

Meanwhile, Ana grew more and more anxious about Sean.

When Sean awoke he found himself tied to the same post at the camp again. "Oh not again", he said shaking his head, but this time he was alone.

Ana had decided. She couldn't just stay there. She made a survival pack after eating some fruit and roots she found, locked the jet, then set off in search of Kat and Sean.

Sean saw the chief talking to a few other nastives, and glancing over at him.

Ana walked on the edge of the forest, keeping the beach in sight, and mentally making a list for the plan she was formulating.

The natives continued to disperse amongst each other about Sean; While sat there cslmly looking on.

Soon a copule natives came over and made him stand. They then began to kick, hit, and slash at him, and continue doing so for an hour. They're punishing......me for escaping he thought to himself. Or maybe just having fun.

After walking for about five hours, Ana came across a river, and decided to take a break, and drank.

When they were done, they left the broken and wounded Sean in a heap on the ground gasping for breath from the last blow; which was sent at his stomach.

Ana cleaned off her face, trying to clear her mind.

Rain began to fall, and all the native went in their huts, while Sean layed on the ground not moving and too consumed by pain. This may be my last night he thought to himself.

Ana heard the rain falling and felt some drops underneath her tree, and hoped Sean was allright, wishing she could help him.

As hard as he tried, Sean couldn't get to sleep. It was the rain and pain that was stopping him.

At last Sean drifted off to sleep, cold, wet, and in pain.

The morning brought a stop to the rain, and Ana woke up to sunlight streaming through the branches of her fallen tree and temporary shelter.

Suddenly, Ana heard something. She stayed perfectly still. The thing was getting closer. Her heart was pounding. She didn't know where to run. Then, screaming and brandishing spears and dart throwers, the natives jumped out of the trees. Ana screamed and tried to run, but it was no use- they had her surrounded. Two big men walked toward her, grinning. Ana screamed as one picked her up. Her scream grew louder as they bound her hands and feet, though she tried to kick the entire time, but the men were too strong. Her shirt was ripped and part of it tied tightly around her mouth to stop her screaming. Then Sarah felt someone stick something sharp in her arm- "Not another dart," she thought. As she grew drousy, she felt someone grab her hair and force her head up. She looked into the face of one of the two men. He was talking with the other, and grinning at Ana. He reached out to touch her face, and she tried to bite his hand, but couldn't because of the gag. She felt a slap, and then the poison took over.

Sean just kept digging periodically glancing up at the native who was watching him. Then he suddenly became worried about Ana hoping she was alright.

Ana woke up in the chief's hut again. She was still bound and gagged. She wondered if Sean was alright. She saw the two men talking with the chief, and from the looks of it, they were bounty hunters and now wanted their pay for finding Sarah after she had escaped. From the sound of it, things weren't going as planned, and it was about to get ugly.

Sean saw two big natives carry Ana ito the village, and it gave Sean a sick feeling, but he kew couldn't do anything. Not now anyways, so he continued on digging.

The yelling started, and Ana saw the one who had pulled her hair point to her a lot. Finally he came over and slung her over his sholder, walking out of the hut. She saw Sean as they walked through the village, and she tried to kick and scream, but couldn't. She felt another jab in her arm, and the poison took affect more quickly this time.

"Ana"!!, Screamed Sean cried as he quickly got up to help her, but was yanked back by the native who was in charge of him, and whipped over and over again, but fought back as he kicked the native as hard as he could in the face, sending him sprawling to the ground clutching his face. Sean took advantage of this moment to run after the native who was carrying Ana away, but was struck unconcious when a different native threw a rock at him, hitting Sean in the head.

Ana heard Sean scream, but it was too late- the world went black. The native carried her into his hut and was greeted by his mother and sisters. He put his captive on the dirt floor roughly. He told them he captured the runaway, but the cheif did not want her back, so refused to pay him. He decided to keep her for himself as a slave, since his mother was old, and his sisters needed help.

Sean woke up to find his hands bound, and the other end of the rope tied to a wooden post. The pain started to kick in again, but he was more concerned about Ana at the moment than himself.

When Ana woke up, she was once again forced into the "hula outfit" as she previously called it. A rope was tied around her ankle, and the eldest sister tied the other end to a tree outside. She was obviously supposed to tend the fire. "I'm getting sick of this," thought Ana. The gag was still in her mouth, and if she touched it, she was poked with a stick. It was only removed by her main captor, whose name she had figured out was Oota. He removed it so that she could eat a little, then put it right back on. She wondered where Sean was...

Soon the native whom he had kicked the face ealier came over and untied him and pulled him over to the spot where he was digging, and motioned him to continue. So he did as he was forced to with his mind still on Ana, wondering if she was alright.

ic- Ana tended the fire. Minutes turned into hours, hours turned into days, days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years. Three years passed. Ana was now 20. She had learned the Inti language as she took care of her family. When she was 19 Sanshi, Oota's mother, died. Oota's sister's were married shortly after. Oota kept Ana, or 'Yani', meaning butterfly, as a housekeeper. She took care of things while he hunted. Ana saw Sean whenever she went to the river with her jar on her head. She was now allowed to walk around without any bonds. She was no longer treated like a slave. Oota brought her gifts from the other women, the ones that made jewelry and clothes. She was now extremely tan from the sun, and after her 20th birthday, for she kept track of the days, and told Oota, she was given the garments of a full flege Inti woman. She wore the wrap around her middle and the sarong around her waist. Ana always kept her hair closely braided to her head, and today when she passed Sean, she smiled and greeted him on her way to the river.

Now 20 Sean still had slave work to do, but wasn't treated as harsh as he was years before. He had come to respect the natives, and even learn their language. Sean smiled and waved back, as he filled two buckets with water.
