I have this book, and it is a valuable reference of the series while reading the books, as well as on here. A lot of the questions I see asked can be answered in there. It's called Companion to Narnia and it's by Paul Ford. He just published the 5th, updated edition for the movie. I HIGHLY suggest getting it. You can find it all all the major bookstores, and online.

I can't say enough about that book. The previous edition had the unicorn on the front.
