I think that part in The Silver Chair when Pole, Scrubb and the Wiggle are trapped under the earth, Puddleglum says:
"I wish I had my tinderbox." something like that. then Scrubb and him go on talking about where he might have lost it, then Pole goes like "Oh what difference does it make where he lost it!!!" I just thought it was funny. :p

edit:
uhh..is this another dumb thread? :( I've seem to be making a lot of those lately...

another edit:
I think this is they're full conversation:
Puddle:I wish I had my tinderbox
scrubb: Yes, where did you lose it?
Puddle: (cant remember what he said)
scrubb: No, wasnt it when the dogs chased us in the cave?
puddle: you know, you may be right.
pole: oh stop it you two!! what difference does it make where he lost it!

lol

Lol, I just watched that part tonight, which enticed me to take a thread for it. :p I never realized how much I like the BBC SC...now I wanna see the other ones.

You should.
And not just doubt them..as I know some member here made a thread going on and on how "dumb" and a "disgrace" they were to narnia which really annoyed me.

Yeah, but I don't want to buy them if I wouldn't like them.

Well then, that is a risk you'd have to take. Though, you might actually find that you like them. Though I know many..sadly..dont. :(

I love them. I have them recorded from TV from when they originally came out. I need to buy the DVDs though. I think that they'd be worth it and I have seen them all. They follow the books really well.

I thought it was interesting in the underworld when Puddleglum tells Jill to be steady when she's closterphobic and then he spazzes out later.

I actually defended the BBC movies Here. (http://www.narniafans.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6637)

I like the BBC versions of Narnia, but they are really for kids under 7. The newer movies are more-of-age, and easier to understand without reading the books. If I had seen the BBC movies before redaing the books, I might have never even wanted to read them.

Still, there are a few places where the newest LWW movie _failed_ to use very easy opportunities to make things clearer for those who had not read the book. When Professor Kirke is _finally_ on camera, it would have cost them less than ONE MINUTE of added screen time to have him say, as in the book, that if Lucy were pretending she would not have made a claim of being gone for hours when she was only out of her siblings' sight for moments. This would have quickly and painlessly set up the time-difference between universes, and shown some of Kirke's wisdom _without_ noticeably slowing down the movie.

He did in the script, but Andrew Adamson thought it didn't fit in the conversation very well, so they deleted that part. It's in the extended edition.
