Hi, I was speaking to my friend last night who said that in the early 70's he saw a Narnia TV series - it wasn't a cartoon and it wasn't the one we know and love with Ronald Pickup etc...
Does anybody know about this?

No - its not the BBC version. I've heard people talk about this series before, but unfortunately we've got no information about it. I think some people on here have seen it though.

The original series was made in the 1970's? Weird.. I thought it was done in the mid to late 80's.... I remember when there was something on tv about the casting call for that series and at the time I think I remember they were doing the auditions at a school.

There are two series'.
One done in the 70's and one done in the mid-80's (which is the BBC version).

I did some searching on imdb (imdb.com) and found this (http://imdb.com/title/tt0224907/) black-and-white TV series from 1967. Is this what you might have been thinking of?
