Hi! I am hosting a Bible study for teenaged girls (not all of whom are Christians), and I've been using short passages from The Chronicles to illustrate our Scripture text. Next week's text is from Hebrews 4 about the how we have confidence to approach the throne of Grace. We'll be talking about how the Greek word for confidence there means "freedom to say all one is thinking". I know many of the times the characters confront Aslan in confession we aren't allowed to know what he says to them, but I was wondering if any one could think of a time when Aslan has a candid conversation with someone that might fit the illustration. Thanks for your time!

Hi Promisdone! Welcome to the site. I came up with a few examples, but this list is by no means exhaustive:
The Magician's Nephew, Ch. Digory and his Uncle are both in trouble
- Conversation between Digory and Aslan, where Digory confesses what he's done.
The Silver Chair, Ch. Jill is Given a Task
- There is quite a long dialogue between Jill and Aslan. You may be able to find examples in there.
If you don't have the books to hand, just let me know and I'll type up the appropriate bits and email/Private Message them to you. I'll also try to think of any other bits...
Hope its helpful!

Also:
Aslan's conversation with Lucy in the wood in Prince Caspian, as well as His greeting of all the children and Trumpkin in the meadow near Aslan's How
His conversation with Lucy upstairs in the Magician's house on the Island of the Duffelpuds {thump...thump...thump} in Dawn Treader
Aslan's conversation with Shasta in the foggy dark crossing the mountains from Archenland into Narnia in Horse
The prior post also contained some excellent suggestion. (Oh! Didn't see you there, WHB - when did you arrive?)

Thanks for the GREAT suggestions - you were both wonderful! I think I've decided to go with Digory's conversation with Aslan, since it's a bit of a confession and this lesson is falling on the heals of a lesson dealing with needing to let God "shed our scales" like Eustace. I may be back in a week or so if I get stuck again! Thanks so much!!!
