Umm...well I don't really know if this is the right place to put this, but since Christmas is a Christian holiday...anyway...(Mods,you can move if needed.)
For me,Christmas is a holiday of traditions,as well as a holiday when I always think about Jesus and God more than I usually do.But what does Christmas mean to you guys? Do you have any different traditions? What are your thoughts about Christmas?

My thoughts? Christmas is great. We get to celebrate salvation, life, family, and everything else. My family usually goes to midnight mass on Christmas Eve. I'm pretty sure that's the biggest tradition.

On Christmas eve I am usually with my mom's side of the family at my grandpa's house it's really cool because half of my family lives in Rochester and i love getting to see them because they are all really cool and i missed them. Then we have dinner it consists of pirogies((Which are OK)) and Cabbage soup ((which tastes like water saturated in feet it is really gross!)) Then after i choke down the meal i stuff my self with cookies and then we open presents and watch christmas shows...but if you knew my cousins it is much more fun that it seems...
Then...
Christmas day i usually wake up and open what Santa got me, and then go to my dad's moms' and i open presents with my dad's side of the family whom are the coolest cousins ever, even though half of them are younger than me, and we usually play with our toys until we have to go through with the long and excruciating "fashion show" when my grandma makes us try on all of our new clothes. Then we go to my dad's wifes' house and open presents there with my step-siblings then me and my step sister watch our traditional Christmas movies (Elf, The Year Without a Santa Clause, and many more) and eating cookies until we get sick! It's a lot of fun!!!

Well, we usher in the Christmas season on Thanksgiving day at my house. The tree goes up and so do most ofthe decorations, with the others being put up over the next few weeks. Then, on Christmas Eve, we have two family gatherings, one for my mom's side of the family and the other for my dad's. There's food and then presents. And if either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day falls on Sunday, there's church, of course. Then I usually go to my grandmoter and my neighbors delivering their presents sometime during Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, which is fun. And then mom, dad, and I exchange gifts that evening. Then on Christmas Day, we get up, have breakfast, and start taking down the tree and the decorations. By lunch, the house is clean and any trace of decoration has been boxed away. I like it, because it's almost like a cleansing. All the things that really don't matter to the true meaning are put away, and we can just spend the afternoon resting and reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas.

Dude.......... all of your Christmas's sound so much more magical.....lol
we ussaly just stay home and open presents on Christmas day and then do whatever for the rest of the day... we used to have reflections on the true meaning of Christmas and all but it seems like it sort of faded through the years which mades me kind of sad... This year though my family from Mighigan came down and we opened presents on Christmas Eve and then on Christmas day we had a dinner where everyone talked and folloshiped with one another..well that is except me.. I ate then came on here cause I had no one to talk to...lol then later on we played cards which was fun for the first hundred timesbefore it got old and then everyone said their goodbyes, went home, and the house was left with the drealy lonly atmosphere that falls when everyone leaves and then your left alone with the ppls u spend everyday with yet ur not vary close to... This year though, I didn't want Chirstmas to come to fast cause then the Chirstmas season was over...to tell you the truth I littelry felt like the day before Chirstmas Eve was more like Chirstmas then the actual day cause I got to spend it with my really good friend Kimberly... ao all in all it was pretty good I guess lol. There u go thats my todally random Chirstmas.
