The resurrection scene in the animated version is so joyous and moving that you just have to see it to believe it. Even if for that alone...but there are other reasons...it is the best.

Well, I will say that the animated version of LWW delivered a surprising degree of emotion for an animated film with such simplistic character design and movement. On the other hand, I thought the BBC had a terrific Professor Kirke. ("Do you _really_ think you're the _only_ ones who've had an adventure in Narnia?")

Well I can`t say because I`ve only seen a little bit of the BBC one and I haven`t seen any of the animated one but from what I`ve seen the BBC LWW is a little bit dull.

this may sound like a dumb question but is this discussion about the versions of the chroncles of narnia by wonderworks? i've checked out those out on VHS at the public libiary and i've rented them more then once i thought the special effects were cool :) but the newer version rocked :)

i grew up with the BBC versions and i loved them (somewhat pathetic as they are!) human sized beavers, over-exaggerated acting or not enough acting, bad visual effect. I LOVED IT!!
i actually about had a heart attack when i saw Mr beaver in walden media's narnia. somehow my brain was programmed for a human sized beaver.
Cheerio fellow Narnia lovers

I hated the Beavers in The BBC version
Oh I know the beavers scared me when I first saw them..I was like AAHHH! WHAT IS THAT!? heh, sorry....I thought they looked like people in burrels with makeup on....lol :p No offence to the BBC version of course all and all I thought it was a really good movie, exspeially Aslan I thought he was adorable despite the fact that he was basicly just a big puppet (and keep in mind that I abaolutely hate puppets for some reason but I loved Aslan...lol :) )
So Umm..I guess it would be the BBC version for me but the animated one was cute also! (though I thought they should have added a little more emotion to Aslan's tone of voice...)

I probably have no rights to compare it, coz I watched Walden's LWW, BBC's PC and VoDT :) But I prefer the walden's so far
Got to go with the cartoon, love it.

really? wow
anyway, i'm fonder of the new one. that's just me
the special effects and all that jazz have come a long way. plus, tha actors and actresses play the characters better.
