Old narnia box set

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone else has the old narnia box set, its green and such, anyway i was wondering if anyone found that all 7 books will not fit into the box, only six will.. so was this intentional or not?.. did someone plan this so that the reader would always have one book out and always be reading one? or was it just a mistake....

I don't know about teh green box set, but the early 1980's one (the brown one) has similar problems, it's a real battle to get all the books back in!

it is simply a matter of well thumbed books getting fatter with age (just like some of us)

the only answer is to read them without bending the spine, but as far as i know there is no remedy after the fact
