When I first saw those movies I thought they were really good, but that was a long time ago. I recently watched them again and it was hard to make it through all of them because of how they had to make reepicheep and how some of the animals were animated. the hardest thing about it though was seeing Aslan because he looked like a big stuffed animal. But you always have to remember they are old and they were very good movies when they first came out.

I have not seen the BBC versions at all, but I have the 1979 Animated The Lion, The witch, and The Wardrobe.

They were a big improvement over LWW.
It was decent considering the budget that they had and the lack of acting experience.

I dont think anyone is going to like the BBC versions unless the watch them for what they are; a 'reasonably' low budget, late 80s production in a country where good child actors are very rare.
I love them simply for the nostalgic quality.

I never seen them. I want to though! Wonder what it was like? Did the kids act good? How did the battle look?
