I think I would approach him reverantly, and maybe even bow. I also think that I would be a bit unsure of myself and a bit timid as well. I would wait for him to acknowledge me and then I would ask if I could touch his mane. Then I would also ask if I could also ride on his back. I think it would be totally exhillerating! That scene is one of my most cherished ones in the book. I absolutely love that part! I would hold on tight to his mane but I don't think Aslan would allow you to fall off if he wanted you to ride on him. I would also make it a point to be ever listening while in Narnia that I might hear him roar.

I didn't think the part where the girls ride on Aslan's back in the movie was fake... a little awkward looking, yes, compared to what I envision when I read the book. I think that's because it was all shot on green screen with the scenery added in later, and because the girls were actually sitting on an animatronic version of Aslan that, looked very lifelike for a "puppet", but certianly did not have the same range of motion that a real lion would have. I think as technology improves, the film makers can also improve the quailty of scenes like that one that for one reason or another are very difficult to shoot. However, I think they did the best job that they could with what resources they had.

Well if i was in Narnia. First i would faint and scream omg. than i would first go to see the lampost. and just go along the path to see if i can see a certain wardrobe. lol. i would visit Mr.Tumnus, then i would talk with the dryads and other creatures. i would then go to the stone table. too look, then to cauldron pool. And then i would go to the witches castle ( if it is still there after her death) then i would make way to cair paravel and talk with the kings and queens. i would then hopefully stay the night and go dancing with the fauns and dryads at the dancing lawn. if aslan came i would be in awe for about 10 minutes. then give him a hug and well..... do more narnian stuff the next day and forever long i stayed there..then i would come back through my wardrobe at my grandmothers and be in awe for the rest of my life..

Heres what I would do:
If I saw Aslan, I would run up to him and give him a great big hug and some kisses, then I would go talk to all the animals and have tea with Trufflehunter the badger. Then, I would probably want to go for a walk with Mr. Tumnus and all the Pevensies on the beach and go looking for shells.
Then I'd want to go up to the castle and get a nice change of clothes and have a wonderful dinner with the Pevensies.
Then the next day I'd do some Artchery with Susan and Lucy and go riding with Edmund and Peter.

If I got into Narnia and saw Aslan, the first thing I'd do is bow - the only thing you CAN do when you're with a King.:) After that, I'd ask Aslan if I could touch His mane... then I'd talk to Reepicheep and the Pevensies (after being given a lovely Narnian gown!), ask one of the Dwarfs to show me how they make their weapons and such, talk to Eustace about his time as a Dragon, then marry Tirian.:D:D

I would instantly be on my face before him, as a dead man, but in a state of utter worship. Aslan would very likely come and give me a 'lion kiss', and perhaps urge me to get up by nudging me with one of those huge paws. Maybe then, I would be allowed to bury my body in that mane of all manes, feeling a 'golden warmth' all around me. I have no idea what Aslan would tell me. It would ultimately be based on the circumstances. But regardless of whether it was an 'adventure I am being sent on', or that I have come to be forever with the Great Lion, it would be good, and I would forever be a changed man.

I would get on my knees and bow to him, then I would ask for his permission to give him a hug, then if he says I can, I give him a hug. Sorry I know I sound lame but feels disrespectful to just run up to him and give him a hug on a first meeting. Asking his permission first is more respectful in my opinion. ;)
