I just think it would be a good King Miraz, he has some evil look but he's a nice man and a great actor. He would do a great job, what do u think?

I agree. Colin Firth is too young to be King Miraz.

I pictured Miraz to be in his late 40's at least...but then, he did have a baby with his wife Queen P. Not that you have to be young to be a father LOL...but he strikes me as much older than Colin Firth. Almost like Alan Rickman. If someone plays Miraz he should have played evil roles in previous movies.

No way. I love Colin too much for him to be Miraz, and he is too young. But what about the guy who played king Theodin in LOTR?

He's not too young and... The MAKE UP IS THERE ANYWAY!!!!!!! He can look too manny years older but i was really talking that he could play Miraz because he's a great actor and he has... a "cold and british" look. Of course, I love Colin, He's so cute (too old for me) but King Miraz had a son in the book, so he can't be really old. I think Miraz was the youngest brother of Caspian 9th, father of Caspian the Tenth because, if he wasn't the youngest, he would have to be king before Caspian 9th... don't you think?

Yes but why put a handsome actor like Firth in makeup and make him uglier and older? It's a shame to hide his looks.

Oh you mean Bernard Hill, King Theoden :). Yeah see I picture Miraz as being someone older, with a beard. If you ever saw Braveheart, the guy who played the mean king in there would have been good also. But he'd be far too old now.

You mean Peter O'Toole, who played Paris and Hector's father, Prius? Or that ugly mean guy who was Paris' husband?

I always thought of him as a cross between a pirate and Henry the eighth.

I think Jonny Depp, with some stomach padding to make him fat, would be good in the role.

I AM GOING TO KILL SOMEONE. WHY DOESN'T EVERYONE RELAX FOR A BIT AND LET PIPPA HALL DECIDE ON EVERYTHING?

Because the fun of knowing about movies before they can happen is getting to speculate on the cast. Also who knows, show biz people keep up with the current gossip as much as we do, maybe Pippa occasionally takes a look at this site. If I was a casting director these discussions would be a big help in choosing someone. I mean if you're thinking of one actor who might do alright but several hundred people think he wouldn't be at all believable, that has an impact. But this is mostly here to enjoy imagining your own perfect cast.

Miraz was older, at least I always imagined him in his late 40s to early 50s. He mocks Peter for being but a child and a man in his early to late 20s still has some growing to do..and somewhat of a child. Colin Firth looks to young to be Miraz, and make up can do a lot, but its make up and I would much rather a more natrual old look than that of a make-uped old look! Also men in their 40s/50s can still have children, as can woman at that age....

Umm, IceMaiden, can I ask what you meant by this? (Not trying to be rude) But it confused me, Paris was a boy, he didn't have a husband...LoL...so who exactly are you talking about?

I would assume then, that she meant Paris' Father.
