I know that I’ve mentioned The Narnia Exhibition before, and quite a bit in the last year, but there’s always someone that hasn’t heard of it.  I received an email the other day from someone that has visited it at Kansas City’s Union Station, and written a review of the exhibit.  It’s a great exhibit, and this fan told me that she wanted to spend hours looking at the stuff that is there, especially the room with C.S. Lewis artifacts.  Having seen the exhibition myself, I must concur.  I really wanted to spend more time with the C.S. Lewis stuff, but knew that I had to move on.

Narnia Exhibit Opens Friday at Union Station Kansas City

Union Station’s newest exhibit and summer sensation for families opens Friday, May 22. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Exhibition is produced by the Becker Group, Ltd., which recently combined operations with Exhibitgroup/Giltspur, in partnership with Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media. Based on the blockbuster film series and C.S. Lewis’ beloved fictional books, the 10,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art entertainment and educational experience offers visitors the opportunity to tour scenes from the famed literary world of Narnia. Through authentic costumes, props and set dressings from the magical Narnia films, visitors will enter a three dimensional world that combines the wonders of science with aspects of fantasy. Narnia Exhibition opens May 22 at Kansas City’s Union Station

The brilliant Narnia: The Exhibition is opening this spring in Kansas City at the Union Station.  Tickets are on sale now at the Union Station’s Narnia Exhibition website.

The Exhibition was created by the Becker Group in association with Walden Media and Walt Disney Pictures.  Union Station is attempting to put a greater emphasis on mixing theatricality with education, and this exhibit is a big piece of that with it’s emphasis on the science behind Narnia.  Officials at Union Station, including CEO George Guastello, want to put more emphasis on families and education.  They hope for 70-80,000 visitors to the attraction, which runs from May 22 – August 23.
