Kicking off the year of the Voyage of the Dawn Treader with a new blog, and a fresh start, is the first blog on the new official Narnia fan page on Facebook. It’s a fan page that is directed primarily at the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which is the reason for the change. Things will still be coming to our page under “Chronicles of Narnia, but for the sake of avoiding confusion, an official page was made for the Voyage of the Dawn Treader alone. On it, the studio has decided to restart the blog with an entry about Skandar Keynes.
Skandar Keynes, who plays Edmund Pevensie in the Narnia series, has an official website that is occasionally updated, and has been updated with exciting personal news. Congrats, Skandar, that’s very cool!
Dear Friends:
We are delighted to offer the first of a planned series of reports direct from the set of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. These will not be the kinds of canned pieces you’d find on “traditional” outlets. Instead, you’ll be getting unfiltered reports from and about the filmmakers, as they work tirelessly to bring all the magic of C.S. Lewis’ beloved story and characters to the big screen:
“Dedicated to the Ones He Loves” by Ernie Malik
“All Narnians, with grateful hearts may we give thanks to the crew of the mighty Dawn Treader for their strong minds and artisan hands”
Oscar award-winning make-up artist Howard Berger threw a Halloween party for fellow cast and crew of the Chronicles of Narnia film on Saturday.
Berger, from the US, tells CC he was feeling homesick and wanted to bring the American holiday to the Gold Coast with a party at Southport Bowls Club.
From Skandar Keynes’ official website: “Edmund has been removed from the dungeon.”
From Skandar Keynes’ official website:
Skandar is still at Cleveland. But instead of being on the magical Dawn Treader Edmund is filthy, bruised and finding himself in another dungeon. Sound familiar?

Skandar Keynes from the Narnia film series, including the upcoming The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, was spotted celebrating his 18th birthday at the Swingin’ Safari on the Gold Coast with cast and crew.

Narnia Fans Spy Kerrie wrote in with more pictures from the set of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Â This time, featuring some amazing shots of a Minotaur and Eustace (Will Poulter) on board the Dawn Treader. Â If these photos are from a scene in the film, it looks like Eustace and the Minotaur could be friends, unless the Minotaur is carrying out punishment on him. Â This is all complete speculation on my part, based only on three stills that you can see here.
According to an article at contactmusic, Skandar Keynes gave Ben Barnes a fat lip while filming earlier this week. Ben said that it happened during the sword fighting that we reported on earlier in the week, while nursing his wounds from the battle. It’s not a major injury and he’s likely to be back at work on the film soon, if he isn’t already.
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader news is coming fast and furious today. We’ve got video from the set, of Skandar Keynes and Ben Barnes sparring on board the Dawn Treader, with other sailors on board looking much like they’re cheering them on. Not sure when this will be, in the film, but Skandar appears to have lost none of his skills with a blade since the last adventure. I can’t wait to see the fight on screen.
