Christian artist Vicky Beeching is going to be performing some songs,  but mostly, she says, speaking on C.S. Lewis for ‘Narnia Day.’  Part of their Homeschool Days.

Next week I am speaking at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. I’m singing a couple of songs too, but most of it will be me speaking about C S Lewis. They are holding a “Narnia Day” centered around the Prince Caspian exhibit they have there. Apparently there’s someone dressed up as Caspian, and some scenes from the movie rebuilt that you can walk around. So watch this space for a photo of me and Prince Caspian!

An attraction based on the second film in The Chronicles of Narnia series, Prince Caspian, officially opened on June 26, 2008 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In attendance at the opening were Prince Caspian, who rode in on horseback, Warwick Davis, who plays Nikabrik in the film, and Dave Hoffman, Walt Disney Imagineer and Art Director for Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

After a short introduction, guests find themselves within Aslan’s How, a chamber that plays a prominent role in the film.

The attraction is targeted toward fans of the Narnia series who already know the story of Prince Caspian. A full plot summary is delivered via movie clips, touching on most of the major twists and turns in the film. If you haven’t yet seen the film or read the book, this attraction may spoil it for you (just as many other Disney movie-based attractions could for their respective films).

OPENING THIS SUMMER: Journey into Narnia: Prince Caspian Attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park at Walt Disney World Resort.

Walk through the portal and see what rich enchantment the Disney Imagineers have created, working side-by-side with the filmmakers themselves to produce this extraordinary three-dimensional extension of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.

Your journey begins in the queue where you can test your knowledge of the Narnia stories. Next, either head into the soundstage or introduce yourself to Prince Caspian himself! Pass through a rockwork archway, and you enter Aslan’s Stone Table Chamber, the underground vault where Aslan sacrificed himself in the first movie. You stand amidst gorgeous stone carvings in one of the most awe-inspiring sets in the series, which is also a pivotal location in the film, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.

Multiple screens, dimensional sound and in-theater effects help you live the story of Narnia firsthand, as you explore this walk-through chamber in depth, guided through the tale of Prince Caspian’s courageous battle against the evil King Miraz to win back his rightful place on the throne.

Finally, conclude the journey with a close up look at the authentic concept art and storyboards that contributed to bringing the motion picture to life, as well as the actual props and costumes used by the film cast.

According to WDW News Today, Disney has put out a press release for the upcoming ”Journey into Narnia: Prince Caspian” exhibit at Disney’s Hollywood Studios:

Scheduled to open summer 2008 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Journey into Narnia: Prince Caspian will offer guests interactive experiences. Guests will be able to:

-Enter the fascinating world behind the making of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

-Meet Prince Caspian

-Explore Aslan’s stone table chamber set

-Experience an exclusive opportunity to see behind the scenes footage, original concept art, storyboards, props, and costumes from the making of the film.

Other sources say that they will need until around June 24th to finish the exhibit. If someone could contact us with confirmation, it would be splendid!
