We’ve received word from publicist Ernie Malik:
Reepicheep and Miraz have NOT been cast yet. We’re still awaiting word on Doctor Cornelius. Trumpkin will be played by Peter Dinklage.
You may know Peter Dinklage from his role as Miles Finch in the comedy “Elf” with Will Ferrell. He also appeared in 2005’s excellent “Lassie.”

Alicia Borrachero has been cast as Prunaprismia, the wife of General Miraz, Narnia’s evil king in Andrew Adamson’s “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.”
Pic is the second film in the Disney and Walden Media franchise.
Spain’s Borrachero previously played Escolastica, a devout aunt, in Mike Newell’s “Love in the Time of Cholera.” She is repped in Europe by Katrina Bayonas, head of Madrid-based Kuranda.

Narnia Fans Spy Thomas reports that Pippa Hall has sent out an e-mail to all those in the running for Prince Caspian. The casting process has been completed, and they have chosen their Caspian.
I know it’s taken a long, long time to get back to you with news of the casting on Prince Caspian – but it has been a terribly difficult process, and a very wide search. We are now sure that we have our Prince and wanted to thank you for becoming involved in the auditioning process and working with us. Have a very, very Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year.
Thanks again,
Pippa Hall
There is still no word as to who has been cast in the role, but we’ll know soon enough. As always, stay tuned to NarniaFans.com for all of the latest on Prince Caspian!

Our Narnia spies have told us that only two of the boys that auditioned in the first round have been called up for the second round. Reportedly, director Andrew Adamson and the producers are in the UK, auditioning actors that are Hispanic in appearance and in their late teens. This would fit the story a bit more, and give Caspian a distinct feel.
Stay tuned for more Narnia movie news!
