His debut as the eponymous royal in the second Narnia movie, 2008’s Prince Caspian, helped the film to rack up over $400 million at the box office, and he will now reprise the role in the adaptation of Lewis’s third book in the series, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

Adamson talks Prince Caspian at Cinema Expo -UPDATED- Film Shown

It’s a simple message from the director about the film. As we all know, Prince Caspian is a pretty battle filled book. It appears the film will follow that trend.

Variety reports. Given a big push was “The Chronicles of Narnia” sequel. Helmer Andrew Adamson delivered a taped message saying that, unlike the original, “Prince Caspian” will feature “battles all the way through.”

The Hollywood Reporter followed that up with word of a film reel from the sequel. Disney’s showreel also showcased footage from the next films in the “Narnia” and “National Treasure” franchises — “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” and “National Treasure: Book of Secrets” — as well as “Wall E,” a Pixar movie about an old-fashioned robot.

What did that footage consist of? We can only wonder.
